She’s NOT protecting Osiris. In this case she’s kinda protecting Seth bc she’s not humiliating him in front of all ENNEAD especially after Seth’s reaction to this. Osiris also doesn’t care about his reputation in front of all the other Gods, he just wants Seth that’s why Isis wants to destroy Seth’s soul as so Osiris won’t ever have him.
She's not protecting Osiris, she's protecting herself. If what Osiris did to Seth comes out, she'll be tainted by association and won't be able to regain her power and the respect of the other Gods. Horus will lose his claim of legitimacy to the throne if the Gods find out it was really Osiris that brought about the collapse of Egypt.

i reread this like 5 times already and it's still always will be my favorite. Yes, I agree, I like toxic ass shoujo mangas, but THIS! it got so cute later on and showed a lot more than just toxicity between them! i love it so much (▰˘◡˘▰) loved the ending too. it's just so good!!!
