From what I understand In Chapter 37 and 38 it seems like either Rowan the ML’s father or his step mother is responsible for the FL’s parents death so she wants revenge. However, her mother was abusive and her father planned to leave them for another woman. Her aunt also hurt her leg and hates the ML’s family. On top of that it seems like the ML’s mother is considered a mistress as the ML’s father loved her, but chose to marry another woman instead for business profits and kept the ML’s mother on the side
