I absolutely love the story. I love that. The female lead is bad as she has a backbone and she doesn’t hesitate to reveal the information. This is something I’ve struggled with in other stories because of the times they don’t reveal it till later, which adds up to misunderstandings now I know sometimes they can’t, but I always love when the information is revealed. So I’d love recs where the information is revealed. And/or recommendations where the family grovels big time. I have read many where the family is not redeemable, but I would love ones where the family is redeemable but also makes up for either not getting involved or letting the abuse happen for so long.
