Currently part 1 of season 2 is being released. We'll have a break after and then part 2. Basically season 2 is mostly going to have angst. Season 3 will be the groveling, and author described the ml as wanting to rip his own heart out and eat it to make up for his wrongdoings. Author said it will be much more than groveling and pain for ml in his redemption arc! This was said in the author's notes after season 1 ended. So, if you're wondering if you should start now, I would wait because it's really heartbreaking and cruel for mc now ╥﹏╥ Hope this helps!
