I honestly expected him to remember only when he met with the painter husband, but I’m so excited. I really hope they show the previous lives from his pov. To see his emotions and his feelings in (the both past lives). I don’t think the author will reveal the third life till later

Same. The author has created a lot of powerful scenes and this is one of them. ‘Why did you choose me this time’. The good news is that Ines and Carcel have many powerful scenes from now until the end of the novel. The manhwa artist was originally a fan and did this artwork depicting one of the most poignant moments of their love story.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any. Author doesn’t focus on aftermath when either Carcel or Ines leaves the world. She’s only interested in telling Ines and Carcel’s story when they’re alive and together since they’re co-protagonists. Ines does learn a few things but it’s through another person’s eyes and it was mostly to do with the crown princess’s timeline aftermath. It’s probably told because it’s connected to Carcel and Luciano and their actions.

That's something that doesn't seem clear to me. Did the emperor marry the Mc's mom and the villainess at the same time, had the prince, and then impregnated both women to have his daughters? Or did he marry the villainess after the mc's mother's death? From what I am understanding the heroine's mother came from a poor family, while the villainess is powerful. Yet, her daughter seems older if not the same age as the mc. I also will wonder whats the excuse for ignoring his daughter in the original story/first time line.
Just to add, while I love romance, I'm actually glad that there is little to no romance at the moment. I love just seeing her with her father and brothers.

The red head is mc mommy's friend. She asked her husband the emperor to marry that woman. The emperor did not want, but since MC's mommy came from humble background iirc she's from a fallen duke's house. And that red head from powerful Marquis,at first she showed friendly atmosphere but she's greedy. The emperor did not want to sleep with her,but she drugged him. That's the reason why the emperor hate her,he dislikes her even in the past

According to some spoilers, red head princess is not emperor's bio daughter, she's a fake. That's the reason the empress wants to steal Shushu's power. Emperor truly loved his wife,he wasn't there when she died. The emperor never acknowledge the red head as his daughter but he needs to be civil. I pity him actually. And I'm glad there's no uncomfortable scenes between FL and her adoptive brothers unlike in other manhwa. And about the first timeline, emperor was cold towards FL because he believes that his child is a boi like what the doctor said, his wife's friend. And the red head used manipulation to them, emperor and his son.

Maybe because polygamy exist in their country and she pitied her husband who was pestered by the nobles. I forgot the reasons but I'm relieved after reading the spoilers that she's the first wife, the empress. The root caused of these all is that she let that red head in in the palace as her husband's second wife. Like the spoilers said, the emperor was against taking in another wife. He told his wife that he can handle everything but the wife persisted saying that red head can help him politically. She did not think of other possibilities because at that time red head was very good to her. The emperor agreed but never wants to sleep with red head.

Gosh, I'm going to sleep now when I receive notification of your question lol. Like I said, the emperor did not want to sleep with the red head but she drugged him,put it in his tea. The red head princess aren't love by them emperor, it's obvious. The emperor did not believe she's his daughter but he has no evidence and in the first timeline, the red head stole shushu's power and gave it to her daughter inside a necklace. So in the future chaps, when emperor and FL are in good terms, she still live with the grand duke, FL will tell the emperor about the red head princess and how her power was stolen blah, blah, blah. If you remember in the first chapters when FL told emperor that she's his daughter and she have to prove it? But then her power is so weak? That is also what red head princess will do in the future. Emperor will ask her to prove her power, empress will try to stop it but the emperor will insist. The necklace she wore with fl's power has still a small amount of power so she still manage to survive somehow. But it will be proven tho

I just finished reading the update on I thought this was a common Isekai story and they too dumbed down one of the major scenes of the novel. Why? Those scenes as heartbreaking as they are, are what impact the rest of the novel. Our FMC being abused, her words, to see the shock on all the characters. It was all ruined and so bland. This was supposed to be the big reveal that she was never some nefarious woman, but unfortunately a puppet in her families hands. But nope. I just hope that The Broken Ring doesn’t disappoint me next.

I just read how to get my husband on my side’s major scene a few days ago and they dumbed it down so bad I was so disappointed. Then I knew the abuse was coming up so I decided to avoid the novel and let it simmer until the abuse is over. Only to realize they dumbed down the scene as well. I absolutely don’t condone the abuse, but sadly those scenes are pivotal for the next step. The FMC was supposed to be so wrecked and done she just wanted to be done with and this was to shock and devestafe the ml and his parents. But nope.

Sorry if any of this isn't exactly accurate It's been a while since I've read it.
She was tortured greatly. It was actually important for this part and the ending. It was obvious that she was tortured in the room it happened to. Which ML will find later.
She was left alone in the castle and could hardly walk because of the torture. The torture was very obvious. It wasn't just a few cuts/bruises. If I remember right it describes her face as swollen. She knows that since they didn't find her or look for her they will blame her as they always did. Not because she overheard Blondie lying. She only finds out she's the Author at the end.
If I remember right it was two mercenaries that helped her after the fact of the torture, but not before. She had to offer them her jewelry for help.
I also don't remember Cliff being so actively aware/supportive of Blondie's antics but I could be wrong about that.

Agreed. And so after she escapes she decides she’s so done with life and everything. She goes to turn herself in after finding out her so called family was executed and she intends to turn herself in so she can die as well. This was the breaking part where she is just done. On the other hand Cliff is shattered when he finds out what happens to her and I think this also has an impact on the Duke and Duchess but I’m not sure. It’s been a while since I read the spoilers

I waited over a year for this scene to replicate that of the novel. I kept on thinking it would be so badass. Even when the first part came out, I was like I’m still going to give it a chance maybe they can make it up in the second. But this was just so disappointing. I didn’t hold much expectations on the other parts, but this was the one scene I really hoped they would make it out of the world. Because that’s how the scene in the novel was, and I’m sure it would have been amazing to see replicated into art. But alas I’m going to pause this story and go read something else. Hopefully Broken Ring won’t disappoint when that major scene comes up.
Chapter 77 already came out on September 24th, 2024 and yet it shows its been updated on October 1st, 2024. Though it was chapter 78
