I feel so bad for the mc and his demon clan. They were all innocent people, and to this day people still blame them when they are just as much at fault.

In Chapter 176 we get to learn about the ML’s parents and it’s noted that after the marriage both of them were confined. But under my assumption from what I understood it seems like the father eventually went on with his life while the mother remained confined to a cabin. On top of that she was only allowed to see her sons, once a month. How cruel is that.

I’m so curious to find out about what his actual past is. I feel like he has to be an illegitimate child cuz how else would his mother hate him so much? And the other weird boy looks like he can be her child, maybe her affair child? But he claims that he stole his position. I can’t wait

I like the story, but I wish the Grand Duke didn’t have more power than the King. It feels like everyone is trying to appease the ML, but then the author claims that because of the MC was the empire able to rank this high.
