hey maybe don't have 26-year-olds date teenagers and make it seem healthy, the guy seems nice but it's still creepy

I think that was kind of the point, they probably didn't get round to having sex (thank god) but I think the point of it was to subtly establish that adult-minor relationships just don't work, regardless of ethics. I also think that with how they kinda kept the character puts him in a new role (as a weird, inconsistent older brother/uncle) of sorts. Of course their past itself isn't actually brought up that much besides for the sake of furthering plot, because the ex himself is just so that he can help progress the main relationship. Does that make sense? It's two in the morning so-

it feels like the author's trying to cram all the popular tropes together but forgetting to actually make it flow well
the isekai part is so random and kinda pointless, it feels like it was just thrown in there bc why not
the ml is an ass but im sure he has some angsty tragic backstory to distract us from the fact he wanted to behead the fl right away and is just a thirst trap tbh

ikr this manhwa just throws "show, don't tell" out of the window and has lines like "Wow this is extremely significant!" (this is the best line in history, period) or how the ML just monologues his oh-so-tragic past (with the help of the vice-captain trying to make us sympathize with the asshole - well that failed) instead of actually taking time to develop him. what lazy writing.
This trope has me pissed too. Like the heroine - who keeps shoving it in our faces that she's trying to live her life to the fullest (i get it girl, stop repeating it so many times geez) - was literally pulled into this world just to "complete" the ML? does the author not have a problem with someone's whole life purpose being to fix a man's troubled past???
tbh i'm only staying for the art. it's so gorgeous it doesn't deserve a lazy, unoriginal story like this
(obvs spoilers)
why did kiwoong leave his betty boop in charge of his gf? didn't eunsoo murder piper? the conclusion was so vague hhh
I totally agree there were a bunch of things that didn't make sense, like the fact that he loved Eunsoo but he killed himself anyway and didn't think about the position him killing himself would put her in. And also, I might be wrong but I feel like we never really got a proper arc explaining why Kiwoong was so scared of other Eunsoo, I mean she cheated on him but that's no reason for him to be as scared and tormented by her as he was no?
