minjae and han were both so lovable and i loved them together, they were so cute, but MAN the ex storyline,,,,,,

falling out with ur lover bc u both cldnt communicate well enough even though u loved each other but now u lose not just ur lover but also ur best friend of years MY HEART HURTS !!!!!!

it was painful to read when minjae cut him off for good even though it was for the best, but i'm glad han and hajoon somehow stayed friends lol

i really appreciate that seto has such a strong support system, and that there are actually more characters who sympathize with seto than antagonistic characters (and from what it looks like in the raws, there'll be even more!)

especially since in manga, and tbh in real life, hot female teachers having a thing for male students is often seen as something that's enviable and not predatory, it's nice that it's taken seriously by most people in this manga.

(also love the ace rep and the conversations about trying SO hard to do things to be "normal" in high school are too real )

i feel like some ppl approach every bl-tagged story like it's a romance? but this is very obviously primarily an idol manhwa with side (and slooooowwwwburn) romance, so u'll get disappointed if u start this expecting something else!

personally, i love idol manhwa and i'm always happy to get stories where romance isn't the main genre but it just happens to be gay :3

the cast is so fleshed out and endearing (fuck harold) i could gush about it all day !!!!

weon's interestingly similar to harold in the way they both unhealthily obsess over the things they want (here, hanyul), but weon differs in the way that he genuinely just wants hanyul to be happy and wants hanyul to use him for his happiness. hanyul and weon also have similarly low self-worth and inexperience with unconditional love, and it was sweet how they helped each other see that they're worthy of being loved/happy not bc of their abilities, but as people T-T i don't even like possessive mls and disliked weon for the majority of the manhwa, but damn this hurt a bit

following the theme of unconditional love, pan and rabo's quiet side arc was adorable !!! and ofc my fave character yuda, literally mvp being a good bsf for hanyul, never acting on his crush on yul, punching harold and calling weon out on his fake macho bullshit <3333 literally the most functional person ily king

i'm upset that harold didn't go to prison, but like yul said, at least now he'll never get to have the 2 things he wanted: being a singer, and yul. (also ur very strange if u drag hanyul for stopping harold from killing himself when hanyul spent years traumatized and blaming himself bc he couldn't stop someone's death )

i'd have loved it if dolph woke up at the end, but the ending felt more sweet than bitter, so i feel confident that he'll wake up eventually :,))

I hope that we actually address the amount of psychological damage violet's had to endure that led her to literally kill herself twice, and winter takes actual accountability. because if the manhwa keeps going in this direction of pretending they're.a standard cute developing couple, I need to drop this for my mental health lol
