Put aside everything else that feels a little wacky with this story right now (they aren't together, weird time skip etc,,,) why are they roommates but he sleeps on the floor?? Like long term that's gotta suck, and it's not like they don't have space for at least a twin bed, why they gotta disrespect him like that? (〜￣△￣)〜

I'm choosing to think that the first chapter was click bait because no waaayyy that's how this story ends. I'm convinced that the author was going to have this be a very smutty toxic story but then got super into the murder mystery and scrapped the original plot. It makes sense, I have decided.

Despite the miscommunication being the point of the story, it really doesn't mean that readers won't find the characters (and their actions leading up to this point) annoying. It's supposed ro be frustrating and readers are reporting their frustrations with the characters and the plot. Ain't nun wrong with that..
It's normal to feel emotions reading. But people are literally dogpiling on this story that it's bad and I've even seeing comments that are straight up hateful towards the characters. THAT is not normal and what I am referring to specifically
