Please y'all I know were impatient but let's think here. Yes it's been fifty chapters, but if you really think about it a lot has happened, it's a SLOW BURN and plot doesn't have to relate to romance to be interesting. BJ Alex had 100 chapters (I have a feeling Jinx will be 150ish), at chapter 50 we were only just getting semes backstory, just barely starting the redemption. It feels longer because it's updated 3 times a month (which is reasonable!! Think about the work it takes to create this and be mindful of the authors physical and emotional health!)
Obviously, yes Jaekyung is an asshole that doesn't deserve Dan, but if this really frustrates you, as some people are commenting about, there no shame with dropping it, maybe coming back once it's completed (if it's really causing you so much distress it's better for you that you come back after it's completed anyways). BJ Alex had this happen too, everyone hated it and then it was completed and now (mostly) everyone loves it.
This turned into a bit of a rant but I just feel instead of having productive conversations about this manhua people have gotten carried away with their frustration and instead of realizing that we are supposed to hate Jaekyung, they call it bad writing. Let Mingwa cook! If we get to the end and still feel frustrated and hate him then that's a different conversation. But right now we're just to early in to just write it off completely.

I hate it when a story "ends" but then has side stories that are really just the ACTUAL end of the main story. Like this one, chapter 4 is not the end with 2 side stories, this story is 6 chapters. I've just seen multiple authors do this now where they claim it's the end but nothing has actually been solved and then they use the side stories to clean everything up. That's not what side stories are for!!

You're right as hell and to be frank this has got be the worse case I've come across thus far. Although the story ends on a calm, happy note the story feels WAY too short, and not in a sense of it was so good I wish it wasn't over, but rather in a where's the rest something is missing sense. What once was a interesting premise with a decent plot is now an incomplete story that lacks substance. Like wtf the fact that I can say with exceptional confidence that I've read all sorts of one shots that where more fleshed out than this is crazy especially because this really really didn't need to be short and had more than enough potential to be a full length story. Honestly, even if the author would have preferred something short they could have added a few more chapters to flesh the story out a bit and that would have worked just fine, but instead we got something that feels like they wanted to get paid so they just put something out, they had to fill a quota, or something. I don't know and I'm not sure I care ughh.

Just because it seems to be the minority opinion,,, I actually am really loving the simple domestic scenes with his group members. In fact my favorite chapter is 14 because it's the one where they all try and wake him up. I don't particularly care for the romance between the ML's and I don't really care for more plot. Just them being all happy and sweet is a nice breather from all the other angst and smutt in other BL's
True, I don't even mind the lack of well drama, the kind that keeps you on your toes all the time. This pace is good

Your internet tone needs work
The amount of smoking in this manhua is insannneee. Like didn't we just find out she was pregnant? The whole "I'm gonna be a dad" thing right? Why is the next panel we see of her smoking?? Literally anytime something plot related is happening there's smoking involved.
I personally don't like it but, tbh, this is about accurate. People smoke a lot and more casually in Asia, with less regulations. Especially in a work setting, there are areas just for smoking. Stress is HIGH all the time. It'd be less natural if they weren't smoking.
Don't get me wrong I totally get that. But like, 90% of the stuff on here is from Asia but this one in particular is the only one I've read that had this much smoking imagery, so I just find it odd. Especially the smoking while pregnant part
You’d be surprised how many people smoke even if someone is pregnant. I have to say is funny you noticed how much they smoke though
I highly highly recommend Zhong Quin if you like this one, the plots are very similar, the novels completed but the manhua is about 60% done
