I feel like I'm forced to root for Josh because he's the only one who doesn't make me want to claw my eyes out. I really like Lucas, I hope he gets a side ship with the black haired girl.
This chapter hit me right in the feels. Mia may be silly sometimes, but she actually does have some wisdom, as someone who's been executed by a revolution before. It made me so sad when she wondered why no one even warned her in her past life, like was that really so hard to do??? They waited for her to dig herself too deep before killing her, but no one even did the bare minimum effort that could have saved her life. I think Mia has really pointed out the hypocrisy of the "righteous" faction. I hope Mia continues to grow into an even kinder and wiser person!
I hate that mother. You couldn't at least give your daughter a warning that others are gonna bully her before sending her off? And then when she comes back crying you tell her "seduce men" what the fuck that's so manipulative. I'm not sure what to feel about her hating our MC, like, it's giving morally grey heroine, which I could get behind, but I dunno I kind of don't like it.
