This is giving natsume yuujinchou with romance and I love it!!! Natsume Yuujinchou is more platonic with lots of found family themes, definitely one of my all time favorites. Anyway wonder who Tatsuhiko’s grandma is, perhaps a deity if not human? Could be Alan? Because Tatsuhiko is married divinely to Saneka after all. Please give this a read! Tatsuhiko is so green flag haha

CRYING WHEN RYOMA SAID REO IS HIS DAD’S PARTING GIFT. A GIFT Y’ALL LIKE HE’S NOT A BURDEN OR A PROBLEM.

Ryoma’s such a good older brother. I hope to see these siblings grow together.

Yea I agree, familial love isn’t everything. In the end, the people you love who reciprocates and loves you back matters most, regardless of blood ties. I myself think “found families” are more important to me. Blood ties don’t mean anything if they don’t care or love you. I’m glad that Reo and Akino can find comfort at the bathhouse. Ryoma is straightforwardly awkward, but he’s sincere and honest. I love all the main characters so far.

And some people in the comments mentioned Barakamon. God I love that manga.

Yess you go girl!!! Miss Independent let’s gaurrr!!!! I hope she pursues her dream.

On another note though, I dont think the fiance is that bad. Some of you all need to read other problematic assholes from other stories lol. He’s pretty okay in comparison. The fiance is just inexperienced and stupid, and painfully unaware of how much he has hurt our Nicole. Now that he has a taste of his own medicine, and that he knows and acknowledges what he did wrong, and actually tries to win back her affection, I think he deserves to be forgiven. It’s gonna be hard to make Nicole to fall in love with him, but seems like he genuinely loves her and truly repenting. I hope he will chase Nicole to the other country and does the chasing for once lol. He will be in for a hard time when he does, but I don’t think he’s the type to give up anyway. Also he should communicate his feelings effectively. In short, he’s not as terrible as some comments make him out to be.

Neglect is also a type of abuse, altho in this case it's unintentional because he's just so stupid. I think he just needs to be open about everything he's lacking to Nicole, but his pride (as always) gets in the way of communicating it with her.

These past few chapters had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. My heart was racing, I was literally tearing up—like, emotionally wrecked. I’m SO relieved it ended well

After that, turns out Ayumu is in a lavendar marriage with her super gay, extremely rich, and very supportive husband. He was the one that encouraged Ayumu to go to the reunion, because he feels that Makoto will be there (they are besties with no secrets! So he knows Ayumu’s first love). Ayumu and Makoto began a relationship and became besties with Ayumu’s husband. Btw, the husband also has a boyfriend. So it all worked out. They then move to Thailand to get married and eventually settled there. Oh, Makoto’s mom was also surprisingly accepting. The End. Happy Ending. Sorry. I’m crying.

Their dynamic reminds me of another manga called Sono Dekiai ni wa Uso ga Aru!

Seems like Yatora puts her on a pedestal. He truly idolises her to the point of viewing her through a rose-tinted glasses. I wonder if we will see an unexpected side of Mori-senpai or something that might just shatter Yatora’s view of her xD
