This manhwa really brings out the worst of my mental state...i was trembling and shaking the whole time I was reading I swear. Not from anger, just from the anxiety this topic brought me
I was never treated as bad as her, or hated even, but my mind was always on the weak side when it came to "self-pity" so even if her situation is not technically relatable - I still relate ╥﹏╥
I really despise the behavior of FL. I won't make any excuses for her, as if it was the ML in her place I would have hated his behavior so FL gets no passes this time. It's incredible painful to be on the receiving end of such a behavior. ML literally lost his mind over heartbreak but still chose to be with her, which ok, technically now he must accept the consequences (further losing his mind). Begging for someone's love will be the last thing I would personally do, so i can't be on his side here but I definitely would pick the ML over the FL as she did lead him on, gave him hope, slept with him...she IS to be blamed.

I don't have a strong opinion about the plot, as i am not really someone to pay much attention to the consistency of the storyline. I also have no real interest in the ML, although he can be cute sometimes if you compare his innocence to that of the FL. Now, what truly attracts me in this story, is mainly the FL and her personality and detachment in some moments. I'm a pretty petty person so, I hope she won't start to care about the brother haha, he can suffer of guilt forever in my opinion ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I think they mean that the ML in Kill the Villainess is not one of the "original" options -- it's a whole new man! Which honestly, yeah I would support Emilia finding a whole new man if I didn't wholeheartedly believe she would be happy on her own, but I think she should live life with good friends instead, that's what gave her happiness in her youth after all
