I can’t read chinese but I did look at the raws till ch54.

*Spoiler alert*

My interpretation of what’s happened so far, could be wrong:


The main trio of friends who always hung out together consisted of Xia (FL) who danced ballet, Purple Boi who played the piano, and Athlete-kun who watched. Red Eyes is a guy who seemed to have a bad past, and FL occasionally hung out with him and showed him kindness. Whenever FL got sad or smt, he’d watch from a distance and want to help, but then either Purple Boi or Athlete-kun would be faster. Red Eyes wasn’t really apart of their trio, he was always kind of an outsider.

Fast forward to 2018, where Xia has now woken up. On chapter 12, Xia gets kidnapped yeah?? Well it was the evil fiancée who wants to force plastic surgery on her to make her look different. Right as she was on the operating table, Red Eyes barges in and saves her. He acts cold to the fiancée but never really gets rid of her. A party happens, and Xia is given the option to attend wearing a pretty blue dress. Upon entering the room with the blue dress, Xia sees the evil fiancée. Evil fiancée tries to pick a verbal fight, and Xia responds by slapping both of evil fiancée’s cheeks AND SLAMS HER FACE INTO THE GROUND YESSS.

Xia then dances with Red Eyes at the party and steals the limelight. I think it’s somewhere at this point that Red Eyes believes that she’s the real Xia. He pampers her and stuff by providing a nice room full of clothes and shoes, takes her places and even went on a romantic date to the beach (candles lit at a literal snap). However, he’s kind of isolating her from everybody. Sometime during this, she remembers that Red Eyes might have been the one to push her off the boat, making her terrified of Red Eyes and wanting to escape.

He forcefully prevents her twice from meeting Athlete-kun. First time was at an airport, he pulls her away before Athlete-kun can pinpoint her voice and recognize her. Second time was when the originally chubby brother guy?? helped her drive to Athlete-kun’s hotel, only for Red Eyes to find out and drive her away. Eventually Red Eyes locks her in a room. When he gets forceful, she kicks him and grabs a knife she hid under the pillow and blindly swings it. It slashes his arm and he retreats. While Red Eyes is away, she ties bed sheets together and escapes the next night. She’s running around barefoot? in snow, desperately trying to locate Athlete-kun by going to the hotel he had been staying at. He’s not there.

So now she’s wandering hopelessly and ends up coming to a bridge where smt happened between her and Red Eyes in the past. Red Eyes, who learned of her escape recently, has also been running around searching for her, and finds her at that very bridge. So they lock eyes and Xia is scared, she just ran away and doesn’t want to come back. IN COMES MY BEAUTIFUL SPECIAL CHILD, Older Purple Boi. He appears on the other side of Xia and opens up his arms. Xia runs into Older Purple Boi’s arms. Older Purple Boi proceeds to wrap a coat around the barely covered Xia (she’s wearing a spaghetti strap nightgown dress in snowy weather) and princess carries her away in chapter 49.

She stays at Older Purple Boi’s house (apartment??) and Xia has a nightmare. She finds Older Purple Boi and he briefly fills her in on what’s happened in the past ten years to himself and Athlete-kun. He holds her hand until she’s asleep and thanks her for having come back (the only text I bothered to google translate ;d ). Red Eyes visits Purple Boi’s home and they discuss something, Red Eyes gives Older Purple Boi the Xia’s worn out ballet shoes from when she died and leaves. Xia comes out and watches Red Eyes leave from the window, Xia exchanges words with Older Purple Boi and they smile at each other.

Later, Older Purple Boi takes Xia every place I really thought she should’ve gone to: her grave, her old house, and to Athlete-kun. At the grave, she greets her mother and sees her own grave tablet. At her house, Older Purple Boi plays the piano again and Xia dances. Red Eyes appears at the front gate seemingly wanting to enter, and evil fiancée comes out of nowhere and mocks Red Eyes about Xia?? Evil fiancée tries to seduce Red Eyes, he pushes her away and leaves.

Athlete-kun’s workout is interrupted by a call from Older Purple Boi with the news that Xia is alive. Xia is helicoptered over to Athlete-kun, who lifts her up in a hug. There’s a montage via gossip magazine covers/articles about popular Athlete-kun and some mystery girl (Xia) hanging out, indicating the time they spent catching up. Lastly, Older Purple Boi, Xia, and Athlete-kun meet up and try to uncover what happened that day on the ship, I think
