If people genuinely think Yuuri is a bitch you need help. This clearly critiques the idolization of stalkers. The mother and best friend who enabled him represent all of you rn. I think her burning the book is like burning ghost money, except in this case, it's to communicate with Takaya about her rejection, sending his creepy love back. When we last see the book it's half burnt, representing their conflicting feelings. His of 'love' and her's of hatred. Unbelievable how people rarely engage with content they read
This manga puts so much info in two chapters that I can't write about. I just wrote about the diary since so many are unnecessarily sorry for the dude over it. But even if there was no meaning behind it, she still had a right to burn it since everyone else was so insistent of pushing his feelings onto her (like its his way to haunt her) + he's creepy. I hope that if it updates it doesn't fall into the same misogynistic tropes as it is trying to critique here. okay stay hydrated!
