You have to remember some of us are not living in America nor Spain nor Japan nor Germany etc countries where you'll be able to buy manga either online or in store. I can neither. I can only read them online. Free and illegally mostly. We don't use PayPal and similar in MNE. Closest I can come to buying manga but translated is driving for hours until I get to Croatia for manga like Sugar sugar rune, Mahou Sensei Negima, Peach Girl etc, that I don't like nor read, and you have like 3 or 4 more (which names I can't remember) manga that you can buy and that's all. I'm sure 100% you can't buy yaoi on whole Balkan. Homosexuality is not accepted on Balkan, so importing yaoi or yuri manga would cause problems protests scandals etc..
Now I'm not here for pity comfort whatever, just wanted to explain. No need to curse someone's existence for not being able to buy manga somehow.
This manga really bores me now , no offense to anyone , but I'm droping it
What you just described is pretty much the slice of life genre. So basically that's the whole point. A mellow down to earth story (for the most part) about their regular everyday life. No heavy tragedies or drama.
I've read slice of life (I enjoy them). It generally hinges on the character and the conflicts/drama are more daily-life-human things than big stuff. They tend to draw us by their charm or insights. This one didn't have enough charm or insights FOR ME to sustain interest. It started out charming, but sort of went blah for me. That's just a personal taste thing.
I didn't like this because of uke's twisted personality and way of thinking. Roast me, but don't try to tell me he's normal. He thinks he has such a good luck that life brought him only good people? Even children don't think like that. How he recklessly made friends with that weird glasses-kun also chilled me. Few times he dropped not so subtle hints he's up to no good. And what good man brings you drugs? And again when a bad guy warns you about someone, that usually means that someone is human personification of a demon. And that might be strong way to explain it, but really, it's usually like that. And what uke did? "Oh I was warned, but I'm curious, I'll go into weird isolated big houses and have some fun"... ??? Just...... I can type all day, but I'm sure uke has some psychological problems.
If it wasn't for that seme, uke would be lying r**** and killed at the bottom of the river at some point of his life for sure.
Which makes me think what would've happened if he brought a GIRL to that house?
I got twisted vibes from this too that's why I couldn't even enjoy the fluffy parts (plus the seme like never talks)..
I even skipped over some parts because it just got really boring
i thought it was obvious from the other works, that the ones with the twisted personalities are only aware of themselves when they're with their partners. they know they're fucked up, but the other person loves them despite that.
"Which makes me think what would've happened if he brought a GIRL to that house?"
I hadn't thought of that and that very thought just sudden gave me chills.
