Plus what he mostly had a problem with was being ostracized for being gay and that gay men didn’t treat their partners the same way a straight guy would. Well I don’t usually get annoyed about a straight x gay or a straight x straight story but that’s because it’s mostly just filled with smut and the point of it is for smut. But this was supposed to be more plot-intensive and it didn’t suit my tastes at all in how the uke was treating his partner. He was literally trying to force the guy to do sexual things with him on the first meeting then had the galls to complain about not having service to the manager: wtf.
You’re really taking this out of proportion. He didn’t force the guy to do anything. If anything, the guy could have flat-out refused to service him. He chose to service him. And when you’re gay, you can’t come to terms that you’re gay when you first find out. You feel horrible and guilty that you’re gay, and you don’t want to call yourself gay. And especially in Japan where it’s still okay to discriminate against gay people in the workplace, in public, and literally anywhere else.
Also, he wanted his relationship with a man to be seen as normal. He didn’t want fingers pointed at him. He just wanted to be like every other couple. If being gay was normalized, he would not have had this problem. In fact, if being gay was normalized, he wouldn’t have had any problems. But the fact is that it’s not, and it’s a tough world out there for those who don’t fit in. There’s not many people who are willingly open in Japan and many other countries too.
As for the complaint he made to the manager - the dude had agreed to service him, then turned around and lied saying that sex wasn’t a part of the agreement. I’d say the sex worker was also at fault.
Ok, yes it was the service man’s decision to service him. However, the Japanese escort industry does not include sex. Prostitution is illegal and if an escort has sex with their customer, it was the choice of the serviceman/women and not from the company. So he didn’t lie lol. Also, if you’re ashamed of being gay it’s contradictory for you to go out and find a straight serviceman. Again, that’s literally what I said the first time. You can have your opinion on your story. I can have mine. You don’t need to try to convince me that my opinion was wrong lol, you already pressed the dislike button saying you disagree.
I guess it's just him trying to not face his problems. Finding a straight guy is safe because it's better than finding a gay guy (which literally means coming to terms with his issues) and we all know he was shying away from his problems in the beginning.

What Op said is completely valid in the end he’s just fetishizing the escort’s heterosexuality and placing that on a pedestal equating being accepted by a heterosexual man as validation of his own self worth.
