Sooooo I read the re-done translations but there are some things that were still wrong. I usually don't care about mistranslations and whatnot bc tbh it doesn't really matter much for the storyline but since they had the raws right next to it...
The second bubble actually said "as long as (he) doesn't hear cursing (like bad words not swearing as in I pledge) from other people- with an understood "it'll be fine"
And in the second section with the square box, it actually said "well, it's not an uncommon occurrence (for gays to be ostracized) and if I just stop worrying about it, that'll be the end of it (as in it won't be my problem anymore)
It seemed like the person/group uploading this seemed bothered by the weird translation so I looked up the raw version
The first part goes
"Haebeom still hasn't come home? A text came in (to me) saying he went to the library to study"
Although a smoother translation may be "Haebeom still hasn't come home? He texted me he was at the library and studying"
The second part goes
"I can't live anymore! How long has it been since he collapsed he's studying!"
But a smoother translation would've been
"He drives me nuts! How long has it been since he collapsed? Studying!?"
Y'all like am I the only one bothered by the fact that they kept saying lotus roots? Like fr people that's the head not the roots, if anything you can only eat the seeds yikes??
In the chapter, they do indeed referred to the head of the lotus as the root, but that is most likely a translation thing. But the seeds are not the only that is edible!
The roots are absolutely edible and incredibly delicious! Even a simple google search would’ve told you that it was edible....
It’s a common vegetable in China and is seen eaten in other countries as well!
Source: grew up in a Chinese household eating lotus root. I also googled it to make sure that the vegetable is described as edible!
Here’s a link to a page that does a good job describing its versatility in not only cooking, but in medicine as well.

Make sure to actually research topics before talking about it.
The research you could’ve done in literally 20 seconds lol
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I knew that you can eat lotus roots it's a common thing in Korea too, but for the head part that they WERE selling the only part that can be eaten are the seeds
Um maybe you should stop jumping to conclusions as if I'm uncultured lol ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Nonono, I misunderstood your statement the first time! Sorry about that ╥﹏╥
