I think their similarities are the dungeons and defeating monsters esque. Id say Closers and I Am the Sorcerer King seem kinda closer in comparison cause the characters don't know how to close the dungeons.
While in Solo Leveling, dungeons are ranked and can be easily closed. But the monarch conspiracy is the main plot.
But this is me comparing without having watched Closers yet!!! (So take my words with a grain of salt) only looked into it! But I'll start watching now cause it looks interesting
yup...! if u like animes where the mc hides his true potential but is actuaalllyy damn powerful then Closers is a friggin GO..(⌒▽⌒)
lol i actually couldn't wait till i got a reply so i started reading anyway..im in chp 32...and ITS NOT AT ALL SIMILAR TO CLOSERS...except for the strong mc...but here tho he goes through reawakening he still has to work hard to be that strong..but in Closers..the mc was born from strong parents..so he doesnt really have to work that hard..and dungeons and defeating monsters part is also similar..but the main plot is completely different..

I also reccomend reading Solo Leveling's Light Novel, the manga is fast pace and kinda leaves some stuff out (like small details) but those details make the story more cool!

y'all stop reading it if ur not satisfied with the plot..i myself wasn't able to accept the fact that Jamil wasn't the only one Jan liked..and even more a polygamous relationship..
i was pretty surprised..but getting to know the character of Pray..
he isn't that much of a bad guy..and people out here talking bout how Jamil doesn't even like Pray...
Jamil is fine with Pray hence in the last chapter Jamil wasn't mad or anything..he saw this coming...he wants Jan to be happy..and Jan is the happiest when hes with Jamil and Pray..and they both accept that..
RN I've seen Jan's and Jamil's character development and relationship development...and Prays and Jan's too..
all i'm asking for now is Jamil's and Pray's..
All 3 of them together..actually looks quite good..the previous author probably gave up cuz they dint see the plot getting anywhere..the new one knows what the readers need..hence no we have more characters and backstories and amazing xxx scenes...isn't that all what we need?
