What was the first manga you ever read? For me I don't really remember because it's been almost 6 years that I started reading mangas so I was wondering how did u guys find out about manga, I find about it because I like watching anime,how about u?

    Hm...mine was Ranma 1/2, I was 10 and I can’t really remember if it was a recommendation from a friend of mine or that I just wandered around in the libary and found it in the manga section. Anyway, I enjoyed reading it a lot, but for some reason I do not know myself, I didn’t read more manga nor watch anime before years later. So here I am, trying to catch on all the time I’ve wasted being away from heaven~

    I watched anime without realizing it was Japanese or anything
    It was on TV in Arabic and HEAVILY CENSORED in the weirdest of ways
    Fushigi yugi
    If I hadn't been impatient and wanted to know what will happen next
    I would have still thought that Mcs thought of themselves as siblings lol and that nuriko is the tamahome's mom
    I was also watching inuyasha at the same time and the translation was also weird, they kept acting as though kagome was mad because he had to be HER friend not the other chick's friend

    I also was watching anime in tv ever since I was young and started streaming it when I was in elementary school , I remember family members giving me stuff to read too like fujishi yugi , astro boy etc but the first manga I really finished was oyasumi punpun

    All these people started with a good story but I began with BL haha. Was really interested in the anime artstyle when I was younger. I spend hours watching pokemon and a season of beyblade or something, but didn’t knew what the style was called so I was a bit frustrated since I wanted to see more.

    In freshmen high school I met a weeb and a extreme fujoshi, which helped me find the right series for animes along with the sites. She started building things up for me and then showed me BJ Alex, which Alex is totally her type. I didn’t mind since I was figuring out my sexuality as well so I was like “Well, cool. Let’s see.”. Didn’t really Alex so I’m not going to call it my first manga. She then introduced me to this, which was a lot better for a beginner in both reading manwha and BL.

    I really liked it and from then on I started picking out my own stories to read. Now I’ve been reading for 3 years with a bookshelf full of manga’s. A pretty expensive hobby in my country since manga’s are considered rare, TVT

    My sister would get really intense about them
    If anyone dared to peep out a sound during the openings or endings she would wreck havoc
    She wouldn't even care as much if she missed some of the dialogue

    Tower of God, Lookism. Both comics are available on the webtoon app for free where u can support the author directly so please read them on there. All are Action manhwa. Tower of God is more fantasy related like Solo Leveling. Lookism is a strange look at bullying in the beginning, but turns into something much bigger.
