I like reading manga but I feel like I'm reading recycled stories,I feel like I can't read anything anymore but at the same time,I don't want to quit

It's been six years since I started reading manga,First I was reading shoujo manga but people always complain about the heroine personality, and after that,I came across shounen-ai,yaoi,shoujo-ai and yuri mangas .at first I enjoyed reading stories about these genres but now there is a lot of things that bother me:like readers complain about feminine-naive-pretty boy/girl or manly-cool boy/girl(I'm a girl and I act like a boy when I see people complaining about that I feel uncomfortable) .I know there is stereotypical manga and overused themes in some stories but I think people shouldn't deny the existence of these personalities in real life,it hurts me a lot.sorry for my english

I think you are misunderstanding what some people are complaining about. [at least for me] its not about uke being feminine, its about uke representing a girl (with penis) so basically shoujo manga with two boys. also i really dislike stereotypes in shoujo because they sometimes represent borderline abusive relationship. (and girl/uke is often unable to do anything without a love interest's help)
for example i really like crossdressing yaoi, so im not against main char acting like a girl :D , its that authors often force gender stereotypes on girls or gay men.

and also there is another group of readers that wont accept that not every manga is made to fit their tastes.

sorry for the long post xD
