I'm from the United states so if your friend decide to take you out for your birthday, most likely they'd treat you to dinner or drinks lol so that's where my logic comes from with his friends just using his money and always wanting him to treat them to something.

As far as I know the cameras are only in the recording studio that's why he didn't want our seme to enter that room and that asshole only saw that someone was in the living room because the door was open and he saw his feet in the upper left hand corner of the screen. A long as the door of the recording studio is closed and they are in the living room that asshole won't know anything

I don't know why but I distinctly remember a scene where he checked the cameras in the livingroom and studio for Yul but couldn't find him but that's not in the story.
