I hope this doesn't take too long to develop like a certain shitshow that was on chapter 80 already but the author just kept using the same lame excuse time and time again to keep the plot from advancing.
When it comes to Chinese and Korean manhuas/dramas I never really expect it to be well written. I swear Korean Chinese authors don’t know how to end a damn story properly so they just start reaching for drama and miscommunication lol I’m always so unsatisfied but I can’t stop reading/watching anyways
Oh look, another fucked up rape themed manga, sooo "nice and lovely", not to mention the originality, it would be nice to see the people saying this is good and stuff put in this situation in real life, blackmail is soooo nice, rape is sooooo good, the comments here make me really doubt the sanity of some people on this site.
fantasy and sci fi themselves don't automatically romanticize rape and stuff, it's a completely different version of our reality. yeah i can mostly agree that when it comes to fiction who gives a shit (unless it's pedophilia,) but this is a p realistic comic other than the omegaverse stuff. i see why they're pissy, and quite frankly, i am too.
This is a smut yaoi. Most have the whole rape or molestation storyline to set up a story. That's just how it is. If it really bothers you, don't read it. Why spend time complaining? No one is going to give you an F on your book report if you do not finish this story. It's just a fictional story, is it really rape if it's fantasy?
Sorry, I'm not calling the manga fucked up. It's obviously a smut yaoi, and it's a nice read, but I can't help but think that if this DID happen in real life, it would be fucked up. It makes me really sad that there are real people are so in need of money that they really do have to prostitute themselves, even though they might not want to at all. Is that not fucked up?
Also, rape is rape. Even if it's fantasy. Pretty sure everyone here knows that rape is bad, no-no in real life, but that doesn't mean rape in a fictional story isn't rape. I'm not sure whether this story features it, since technically everything is consensual. That boss, though... agreeing before discussing with the employee sucks. Bad boss. ( ̄へ ̄)
No, I don't think I was clear enough. I'm not saying a reader/creator is wrong. A story is a story. Murder, rape, etc in a story is for the plot to go on and an interesting read. These, in real life, are wrong. I'm supposing the original commenter was getting worried that some of the other readers were thinking that these tropes are okay in reality. Sometimes we get desensitized to these kinds of stuff from overexposure. A mild example would be dress coding girls, but not boys, since we're just used to it and have come to "accept" it.
"So, do you like men ?"
"Nope"
UMMMM, EXCUSE ME ? If you're in love with a man, then you're obviously capable of liking men...what kind of fucked up idea does this guy have after all ?
So basically you're saying he fell in love with the character he created in his own mind without even taking yuuki's feelings into account, hence why yuuki dresses as a woman without actually wanting to, if "broadening my perspective" means treating someone else's feelings like trash then i guess i don't want to do that.
???girl what? That is so far away from what I'm saying.
quote "So, do you like men ?"

i replied based on what u commented. i focused on the fact that u automatically think that just because a person romantically loves a same sex person means they also likes all same sex person. That is not always the case hon.
they just love that specific person. That is why he said NOPE.
Sexuality is not a binary thing.
just like how u like fruits but not 'all fruits'.
but if that was not what u meant by your post, then its not. simple. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I'm genuinely interested in you pov. I don't want to sound ignorant so feel free to educate me, but I mostly see people use the term paired with another (gay/bi/pan). I don't know how to rephrase it better sorry i really don't want to invalidate it's existence at all! So from what I understand, it'd mean that a demi person could be attracted to any gender (so basically like bi/pan but there has to be a strong emotional bond before the sexual attraction occurs)?
The second part of my comment didn't make it so sorry for the spam but:
As for that guy saying he doesn't like men, as much as I'd like it not to be it, it still seems to me like a classic "I'm straight" trope like we see in most bl manga... I get the demi argument but I doubt it's what the author meant.... Especially if the whole manga is based around the guy identifying as a man but the guy falls for him as a woman and everyone being instantly attracted to him and therefore questioning their sexuality (men or women). That whole crossdressing "trap" concept is completely awful but also still a way to confront gender norms, so that guy could very well be discovering he's just bi/pan? But then again he said he doesn't like men so ... If he was demi, I think he'd have said something else like "I wasn't attracted to anyone or sth like that" (even though he wouldn't come out to a stranger lol) so in this case I feel like the odds are at a classical "trap x '""straight""" guy" comedy which usually rubs me the wrong way but yk i don't remember everything about the older chapters so
I''ll make myself pretty clear so ou and everyone who ends up reading my comment can understand, i don't give a damn if people are gay, str8 demi, pan bluesexual or whatever it is they want to be, if i'm respected i'll DEFINITELY resppect that person back, also i'd like to point out i don't see any human being as being less than the other in any way shape or form, in shorter words, i do my best to be a honest/decent/kind person, but my problem with this guy is that he doesn't he even acknowledge his own husband, he simply fell in love with the ilusion of yuki he created and seem to be completely unaware of how yukio feels about dressing like a woman, what i get from this manga is that he's in love with a fatasy he created in his own mind not taking into account the person he supposedly loves,i once in my life got in a situation where i treated someone else's feelings like trash and didn't realized much later, it's a regret that consumes me on a daily basis and something i wish i could undo, and that's probably why i'm so triggered with this manga, my point of view my have come off as bad/wrong to some but i just don't like that yukio is being "used" like that.
Yeah tbh I definitely get what you're saying, it correlates with the whole trap and straight till I die trope which are both shitty concepts in themselves... I think people were iffy about the way you phrased your comment since everything is blurry with the gender/sexuality barriers everything could be read differently. I honestly think this manga is just a typical and overdone trope-filled comedy, the author's intention wasn't to raise any debate and it's topics aren't handled well so there's always gonna be tantrums thrown by all sides ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ my prior responses weren't directed to you tho! They were supposed to answer @rythmsky101
I think u got the wrong idea here.
He said no to the question because he generally doesnt like men, but Yuuki is an exception. Like, IF he broke up with Yuuki, he wouldnt continue to love men, and if he was to find another lover, that person would be a girl. Except, of course, for the chance that there maybe another exception like Yuuki, which is unlikely.
You cna imagine it like this. Kou, who already has a lover, may still find other women attracting (but of course he doesnt love them), but he will not find other men attractive. It's sexual inclination. He can love many women (of course not at the same time, i mean after breakups) but he can only love one man, that is Yuuki.
After Yuuki confessed, he stopped seeing him for a while. It's because he was confused about his inclinations. He knows well that Yuuki is a man, and Kou had only been loving girl. But he decided that, although has no interest in men, he loves Yuuki.
You can clearly see how Kou never let his wife say that he is a girl (at the cinema for example, he wouldnt let Yuuki get a discount by saying he is a girl). He always states that his wife is a man, and he loves him.
I dont understand how u can think Kou is disrespecting Yuuki. Yuuki is so proud and happy that Kou, who has never been attracted to men, was attracted to him especially.
A few weeks ago i complained about this comic, because the writing is just plain bad and full of cliches not to mention the same lame excuse being used all the time to keep the plot from advancing, and now a lot more people are recognizing this lol, it's nice to see the bomb explode on someone else's lap for once.
Put yourself in the author's situation. You think your opinion can change anything? Let alone if it matters. You're just another hateful littlewhateverwannabe saying this saying that. You think it's easy? Bitches think it's easy they want this and that. They want this to be that. Pathetic unartistic piece of goatshit. Go away. Stop reading. You're not a loss, loser. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
YEah do you know how hard it is to writ? how hurtful it is when someone says its awful or plain and stuff.
I'd like to see you write something better
