Did those 'things' affected the breakdown of humanity in significant way? I'm interested in their origin.
and if at least those intelligent creatures could be reasoned with, tolerating and compromising to each other... then set a common law, I don't mind co-exist with them, no matter how different they are from human

So.. in science-way of thinking.
Otoshi mark and Magic-wielding capability are controlled by additive type recessive genes.
The more O-genes are linked, the stronger the power a person could control.
The difference between male and female was that there is an interaction between two gender chromosomes that makes it phenotypes hidden in male, but when two X genes meet, a mark also appear.
And for the female, there is also a 'threshold' (for accumulation of O-genes) for magic wielding capability to manifest , or maybe there is a primer genes that allow that.
For one thing for sure, there is something that makes it rather hard for O-genes bearer to give birth to boys.

Korean martial art manhwa are a tad better than CHN ones.
From the elaborative style and the flow of the story.

i completely agree!!!
in Chinese Manhua the flow of the story and the art is really had a BIG difference in Korean Manhwa.
I'm more fan of Korean Manhwa because of their plot of the stories. compared to Chinese Manhua it's really different although the art is also good. no hate just saying my own opinion.

Agree.
I do think many of CHN literature works are sufficiently good to read, but the way they create the flow, narrated, and weaving the story then developing it were rather bad.
Personally, I don't mind waiting monthly for a chapter to be updated when each chapter is properly created... for I do prefer slow-paced story,
well...let's say 40-100 pages a chap.

Another thing is the preferred characteristic of the MC and the supporting characters, forget the martial art's usual content.

I want to say... Stay strong, Ai..
but, I strongly feels that those words wouldn't be enough...
and on the other side, did the ML really appear as everyone's idol that even his personal relationship are being restricted??
end note: a combination of rumor and blabber mouth multiplied by gossipy people are truly frightening....
I suppose the saying that love makes one blind is true in this case... but some will find a helping hand while the others are... unsaveable.
For one thing, it IS not the story about one's loyalty towards their superior or savior, but more of fanatism, and blind faith.. but in the crack of his 'armor'... we sense a degree of doubt, fear, and loneliness.
And even for a fallen nobility (even his vassals), to have ignorance to that degree is baffling... tho, I suppose that's the norm there.
LET THEM FALL TO RUIN
