Anya knowing who Damian loves the most without using her powers, Damian being honest for once and telling her what he thinks about her family, Anya trusting him with her deepest secret before everyone else, the two kids just being adorable babies, ahhhhhhhhhhh my heart is melting. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Mr Henderson seems like he low-key ships it lol I love his character so much ;-;
Don't get me wrong, the guy is nice and I wouldn't mind Lucy ending up with him. But I feel like her dynamics with him are pretty... boring? Like, he's already pining. And he's not doing anything about it. He just acts as her bodyguard and gets sad when she's with another guy. Why can't he be more assertive like the others, if he doesn't wanna lose her? (well I guess the one time he DID try to be assertive and seek her out, he hit her with a rock in the face so...).
I feel like with Leo, there would be a lot of fun and mischievousness and I'm also 45% sure he's hiding something. So he has that going for him.
And with Arthur honestly I don't get the hate. He wasn't in love with OG Lucia because apparently she truly was mean and selfish and all that. And he hasn't fallen in love with OG MC either. He noticed and acknowledged that everything about Lucy seems different and he likes her. That's literally proof that even though she's beautiful and all, he fell for her personality and not her looks. He's also a good brother and idk, overall he seems like a decent person. I'd be very interested in seeing a romantic relationship bloom between them in which they both properly get to know each other and let go of their previous impressions on one another.
I guess I just wish the author would give us different endings and everyone can choose the one(s) they like.
PS: despite my rambling on Arthur and my lack of words on Leo, the latter is actually my favourite.
Why would he need to be all in her face in order to be a good male lead? Not every male lead needs to be an obsessive possessive loser and him not acting like a typical manhwa asshole doesn’t make him boring. I think you guys are so used to toxic men that’s every time y’all see healthy dynamics y’all start to complain. Not to mention he’s her bodyguard and she’s a noble there’s no way he could act like that anyway
No. I happen to be very fond of wholesome and healthy male leads as well, that's not what makes him boring to me. I find him boring because he literally has nothing going for him so far. No interesting backstory (so far), no fun side. He's just... Boring. I thought I did a good job explaining myself in my first comment and people seem to have understood what I meant but I guess it wasn't clear enough if you think I'm complaining because he's not toxic or obsessive.
That look... Like father like son I guess. But to be fair I, too, would look dead in the eyes if I was good enough at studying to get 6 Stella stars in one semester's finals.
ANYWAY SO PROUD OF LITTLE ANYA SHE'S FR ON HER WAY TO BECOMING AN IMPERIAL SCHOLAR (probably with 7 tonitrus bolts as well but that would make the most sense coming from her) YOU GO KIDDO!!! SHOW EVERYONE THAT YOU'RE NOT DUMB :DDDD
I'm only at chapter 46 so far (start of season 2) and I'm already ticked off by so many characters to varying degrees.
Coming in at the third spot, Hoya. I have no clue what her true motives are or what she's planning, but tbh I've kinda disliked her pretty much from the start. The way she used to talk to Rayburn as kids, going "nobody's coming back for us, we only have each other... Yada yada," idk it just seems unhealthy ykow?
Second most disliked (this might get me downvoted): fking Bourbon. She lowkey worships prince Frederick yet always somehow manages to misinterpret his emotions. Like?? How is it that despite knowing exactly what kind of shit he goes through with the General, she STILL managed to think he was crying from... What was it again? A HEADACHE? Bruh bfr. ALSO, this whole "attacking people and playing it off as a joke" is too fking immature, no wonder Rayburn didn't pick her as his knight.
First spot is obviously the General's. I don't think this needs any further explanation. :')
Sorry for ranting and ik y'all probably don't care but I just had to get it out from my system.
PS: Angela and Rayburn are super cute together and I 100% ship them but I can't help but feel bad for Frederick :(
I know Noah is proooobably the ML but Leo!!! And even Arthur tbh. They just keep tempting me and making me wanna root for them. I guess I'll be happy regardless of who the ML really turns out to be but honestly this is one of the cases where I want different endings in the form of side stories for each ML candidate.
The art is just too pretty and I'm weak for handsome guys.
I'm only in chapter 6 and tbh idk if I'll keep reading this or if I'll drop it, but I've seen some people whose main complaint about Kaya amd Ran being endgame is the fact that Kaya is 14 and that he's a middle schooler and Ran is a high schooler but... As of chapter 6, Kaya mentioned going to HS next year. Ran is also in her first year of HS because her classmates don't know her well yet and the school year just started AND Ran herself seemed unfamiliar with the commute since she tried out public transportation before deciding to bike there instead. Sooooooo
Doesn't that make them only one year apart? I get people complaining about them being somewhat step siblings and all, but isn't the age complaint invalid?
Not a spoiler but maybe..... (just my feeling) Yeah they are only 1 year apart he is probably almost turned 15 and she has a birthday and turns 16 but to be honest I'm on chapter 22 and it feels like they aren't end game... Kaya and Ran that is.. its going in a unusual way that these shoujo mangas usually go...
Ohhh. I might not drop this after all then. I get annoyed by pushy characters like Kaya, who insist on getting what they want even if the FL doesn't seem hyped about it. But if people feel like they might not be endgame it might be interesting to read. Thanks!!
