I think he’s just sad because he THINKS she doesn’t love him as much as she used to. So, instead of being normal, he went to fuck some girl to make her want him again (hence, the whole thing about her always crying for him, always wanting him). However, what’s sad is that Haesoo always wanted him. She held on to that garbage because she didn’t want to lose him, and yet it happened.
Side note, authors for whatever novel, manga, etc. should not dictate how you perceive the story. If your mind changes solely on the fact that a man wrote it, you should rethink your values. Hope that helps!

I honestly don’t feel bad for Mincheol, but it’s sad for him to think the way he does. I guess he just feels like Na Haesoo, since she didn’t really want to connect him physically because of the past, doesn’t love him. Not saying he’s right (again) because if he actually cared, he could LITERALLY just communicate with her instead of fucking around with another girl. You can tell her loves her and no one will replace her.
That being said, I also want him to see that Na Haesoo was never weak and was truly in love with him too. But he broke that trust and as a mature adult, she can’t and shouldn’t accept him. Taeha at least, in his own way, shows loyalty and doesn’t treat Haesoo poorly despite all those things she said about him and herself. He’s sort of helping Haesoo understand that she can be more selfish and confident in herself (although she still says that it doesn’t mean anything or that he’s probably a player). We can see Haesoo has low perception of herself, so hopefully she overcomes her battles.

So are we just never going to get the update of the skipped chapter or? I’m pretty sure it’s important too and it possibly explain the drastic art change :(

I always find it funny when hardcore BL readers come to straight mangas/manhwas (fully knowing this is smut and will probably have a horseshit plot) and complain about the storyline. Many BL stories are the same, if not, worse. Just because there is fluff (aka sex scenes) to deviate from romanticized abuse/trauma in many BL stories doesn’t mean that the story is good. It really isn’t hard to just continue reading your beloved BL stories. (:
Next chapter, I hope he sees them together.
