The only problem i have with age gap thing is that it's icky especially if it is established as a brothers like thing at the start... though you get to see how possessive usually the younger one is since he is a kid but still he's a minor...the balance of power in their relationship too...we know the older guy is a green flag but still it's kinda icky. I wish kinda their relationship when he's young is dragging for so long... to have deep feelings for someone who rescued you and did that once or twice is enough but guardian...it's like developing romantic and sexual feelings for your adopted parents....it's just icky. I think Zeo has a great knack for being a lover... you have to coax Rawon like people out of their shell by being honest about your relationship for both partners so the other person feels constantly reassured of your affection and interest.

This story is so fucking...nonsensical. filled with clichéd tropes. I think the writer just wanted to fuck one of the characters in their game and decided to write this fanfic about it. But they have no sense of plot or characters and rely on clichéd characteristics...I don't get it. This story doesn't deserve this art.
And as for the MC, the biggest issue i haven't isn't even his lack of know-how or how incompetent and useless he is...but the fact that he looks like an 11 year old. I really hate that in bls when it looks like a 30 year old is fucking a 11 year old boy. Like be fr.

I'm not surprised or annoyed that Taeui can't believe Ilay must love him, and tbh he doesn't love him in the traditional sense, but he desires him the most in the world which is saying a lot. He must be a psychopath but it's not like he is incapable of feeling. Personally I love how he talks dirty - there is a honesty in his desire that makes my heart flutter.
Also, as fucked up and scary as being his lover might mean, to be desired by someone like this for life because you know the standard they have for a companion is you and no other is freaking amazing. People underestimate how lonely one can be when they've grown up with a sibling who is always the one in demand and always coveted by everyone... in this scenario, Taeui is being desired without any remorse or excuses by someone and it's natural he still is making excuses or trying to make sense of it. Everything about this manhwa replenishes my dead soul fr. Every character, every moment, every dialogue...when Yeonwoo said "I feel like I am receiving unconditional love" I almost teared up. I think as a human being the best feeling is when we are loved unconditionally, I think even a few moments of unconditional love that can help us get through a life full of difficulties, it is so powerful and potent and necessary. Dojoon also might be one of my favourite fictional characters...I just hope and pray that the author who created him also has someone like him in his or her life. Tbh...this novel is the true definition of guilty pleasure. Ilay serves that cunt facecard so hard that I can't even be mad. The novel is actually so intricately and detailed, especially their angst moments are better in the novel than in the manhwa though I think they did an ok job with it and they've toned down the brutality of their sex scenes. This might be the only bl novel I've read where every sex scene they had was so hard to get through, but they've fluffed it for the manhwa.
Also Ilay is such an interesting character and I love that the author didn't "change" him with the power of friendship into a decent guy by the end, or give him some traumatic childhood thing. I love that they even made a slight jab with Taeui even speculates that his fucked personality could be that stereotype. But Nah. Ilay was just born with a fucked personality and the right amount of privilege to aid and assist it. It isn't like he doesn't have emotions - which is exactly how psychopaths operate - and this novel shows it so well. They have emotions, they are just incapable of feeling them deeply. But overall, it'll be hard to not love someone back who only sees you worthy in the whole world when he doesn't even have the emotion for it, plus that undeniable facecard, and he got that "overachiever" rizz PhD, plus he has the best equipment, dirty talk pro, would burn down the whole forest to find you, would drop everything to look for you - what I also loved about the portrayal of Ilay is that both Taeui and Ilay changed each other.
In the end, we all want to be someone's only exception and these two crazy fuckers are just that.
I cannot wait to see how they'll draw the middle east prince arc lmao XD and then the showdown with Shinra (Xulin?) Taeui is also quick thick-headed but he'll get around by the end. If anyones waiting for a love confession, it won't happen lol. At least until the extras I think.
I really love this story for how detailed and non-cliche it is in portrayal of fucked characters. Also how Taeui never forgets just how fucked Ilay actually is - he doesn't romanticise it. He knows he's a monster but it's HIS monster. I fucking love this dynamic.
One other thing I liked about the story is that there is no redemption whatsoever of Ilay, just acceptance and adjustments. Ilay is a clinically diagnosed psychopath and he stays that way. I loved that. It felt real.
I would recommend people to read the novel since it has more details and more insight into their relationship and Ilay as well. The angst part of their relationship was THE BEST.

People might like characters like this but it really grates my nerves, he reminds me of that character from Rose and Champagne or whatever. Loud, obnoxious, unintentionally rude and dismissive.
I like the premise, but the execution was so bad. Maybe the novel did it better, but this manhwa seemed sanitised for some reason. There was no depth whatsoever to any character or plot arc. Even the B villain which was the driving force of the main character was just some random dude in Japan that had such a stupid and shallow reason for doing what he did and then he just disappeared with no trace...so anti-climactic.
I like that VX was the ML since it was pretty obvious from the start and he actually was good at his work and imho deserved his reputation; but LROT on the other hand...is embarrassing, really. Maybe it's just me but exploration of his skills fell so flat...all he could do was flex on that immature kid that shittalked him every chance he got. It was VX that took care of literally everything.
