Even though the character dynamics and story wise it isn't anything new, but it is so refreshing for some reason. Major Kwak is that absolute perfect blend of being pervy and saccharine sweet, violent and extremely gentle, caring and ruthless...I love how honest to a fault he is, how protective, how he takes accountability for his actions, the way he softly calls Dr. Seok.honey...he is so quick to get attached despite having a past which would usually make people ruthless and guarded. He's a man full of surprises.
Chepali-nim never disappoints.
It also perfectly balances with Dr. Seok's nonchalant character. Major Kwak is exactly who he needs in his life - he would die for him, kill for him. What a duo. This trope is my weakness.
The only thing I hate or dislike about the story is that the military leaders are sooooo dumb. Like they blame their own soldiers and doctors like criminals for no reason whatsoever...like every meeting is so damn extreme but I guess the time is like that.
I have a feeling the serpent is Dr. Oh himself. This is taking the turn of Attack on Titan...watch the Adams actually be conscious human beings later on and the vaccine when applied to them starts to heal them.
It's just a theory about the latest vaccine and why Adams are beginning to act like humans again. Maybe they have found a cure in the new bout of the vaccine. And that is what upper management is trying to hide. My theory is what if you use a modified version of the vaccine on the already affected Adams? (▰˘◡˘▰)
This story is hella good but the art isn't the ml isn't handsome i can't read the manhwa, im gonna go for the novel directly based on the cover art im sorry. I wish the art was betterrrrrrrrr or the ml was drawn better that raised lip on his side profile is killing me
I clearly said the ml design isn't to my liking. What is your problem? I like the story but not the character designs which takes me out of the story. The ML has a side character or NPC design. I hate it. I like the story though. It's like you hate when someone who doesn't match the book description being casted in a live adaptation.
I agree but still the main characters designs need to be good, I like the mc a lot but the ml has NPC design or like that random group friend that disappears after 1st chapter. (/TДT)/ I can't get into the manhwa but the novel is pretty good. I'm just imagining them based on the real novel cover which is fucking beautiful
This story and art has me hooked by my gills. I usually don't like omegaverse stories but this is fucking great. I stand corrected. I loved that scene in that elevator. Made me squeal since we all know Jaekyung was seething with jealousy and wants to be acknowledged and patted on the head by his hyung lol. Watch him compete in the next Olympics just to get a head pat lmaooo
He is a proper tsundere huh. I love slow burns. I love them. I love this. (Even though the story is quite predictable so far - ofc he would sign with his agency lol ofc he would ask him to member of his team ofc he would turn out to be an omega ofc he's already imprinted on him ofc ofc but whatever)
Their first meeting had my stomach in flips ngl. I cannot even imagine how fucking awkward it must be to run into someone you used to know and parted badly with and they become the biggest star ever. Ugh.
This story HAS ME WHIPPED ALREADY. novel novel novel here I come
Listen for a sec...if you agree to having sex to keep your friends safe, isn't it low-key giving dubious consent? In a twisted way? Like you have a choice to say no, but not really, but kinda...it's better to die fighting no? Seonho basically agreed to have sex, even if under blackmailing circumstances. It isn't giving full consent but not totally being raped forcefully....idk. it is an unfortunate circumstances all around as a result of dumb decisions.
Also how could they fall for such a dumb trap after surviving for so long? Like...what...
Also why would they want more people to join them since the food and water resources will be scarce, and it seems only men are being graped for entertainment... not a single woman in sight. What is this logic? Did all the women become zombies lol. It seems a bit too much bl logic ngl.
it didn't need to be all this ngl. The author had a chance to not resort to this plot device, but they did. This story could've been so much more...like if the ML just pretended to have sex with him to keep him safe and actually didn't do it. Maybe that would've been better...I recognise this artstyle from Chepali-nim's novel
Hyanghyeon Text but the ml there was such a cute tsundere mafia...ლ(´ڡ`ლ) and here is a supposedly impervious superhuman.
More than the crazy heterochromatic eyes ml, I'm disgusted by that big burly bitchass horny punk. Like please die quickly you fucking pig.
I have an inkling the boy he couldn't save in his nightmare will turn out to be the ml for sure. This could also be the reason he picked him out for his fuckbuddy right away. Perhaps...perhaps...perhaps.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
It can be both dubcon and rape. So yeah. Also, they've been surviving on their own is the main reason why they fell for the trap. They're desperate. Almost no food, their friends are dying, etc. it's easier to survive with a lot of people than with just few. ML is unhinged. He's not kind. So yeah, you're expecting too much if you think he'd improve
I don’t know man. This scenario is just straight up noncon rape. When the options are get raped or beat up/ killed, there is no choice. Once threats, blackmail, or safety are concerned that’s straight non-con rape.
Dubcon is a bit lighter. More like a horny bf pestering gf for sex so she just gives up and goes do watever u want but hurry up so i can sleep. It’s when the stakes are much lower and one party gives hesitant almost unwilling consent. But they can safely choose not to consent. Or when it’s uncertain how willing the other party is. Dubious means uncertain.
If you’re certain they don’t want it and you’re forcing their hand, that is noncon.
I think I've seen this plot in some manhwa before.
