He is wrong to ignore her but I understand his situation. His parents are working very hard to ensure that everything looks perfectly great from the outside. Don't you remember when he got a letter from his mother that talked with so much concern about his wife?
Moreover he himself was severely abused and traumatized as a child. When he came to this house from his perspective these people immediately accepted him and loved him. A bastard and a foreigner. Could you imagine that a woman who took in her husband's affair child and showered love on him. Never treated him like a barbarian and seemed to love him. Who would believe that a mother like that is secretly abusing your angelic wifi?
People have a blindspot for their family members. Parents for children and children for parents. I've seen it in real life many times. Sometimes I know that my father said something hurtful to someone else but I feel the instinctive urge to defend him and deny it. It happens. He'll change his mind once he puts the pieces together.
There are two things here. For him his mother is an angel. Second the idea of her working with FL's brother who the family seems to hate will seem very dubious at first.
I personally think the misunderstandings are done very well. This is how gaslighting works in real life. It doesn't just affect the victim it also the people close to the abuser who they convince that they are a good person.
Also please drop a story if you don't like instead of constantly commenting that. I would like to discuss a chapter but all I see is the same comments. There are other webtoons that have a dashing heroine where everything is resolved cleanly and the ML descened from heaven. Go read them and let me have my unrealistic angst. It's cathartic

Seriously does no one like to actually discuss what happened. I went through like 10 pgs of comments and it's all bitch this and bitch that.
Her and her husband both were in a loveless and forced marriage. Hers was also arranged without her consent and despite her personality she wasn't able to get out of it so that means it's not good news for Jeha either. And now our precious Uke learnt about it before Jeha could have told him. He must be so shocked.
Seriously the whole family is a mess.

One thing I absolutely adore about the novel and the author is the way he has included female characters into the story. A lot of fantasy novels will have dragons and what not but the moment you talk about women's absence the writers and fans become defensive and start going on about being realistic.
It's not that hard people, you don't even have to portray any struggles related to gender, just include at least some women characters and write them the way you write men. We are people at the end of the day.
I once had someone argue with me that women in Naruto gave girls unrealistic ideas about strength. Seriously. #-.-)

I don't know where else to ask. Is anyone else having problems with notifications of updates? I don't get any at all for some stories and sometimes only find out they've been updated because they show up on the homepage due to their popularity.
I follow a good amount of stories so it's simply not possible for me to go check them individually every other day.
I don't know what to do? ╥﹏╥

Why? Because you won't express that you're feeling are changing. Even a little bit of hint like saying that I've started looking forward to our moments together would be like a lifeline to Uke.
How is he supposed to know that you're starting to feel something more if you bottle it all up?
And even the Uke is at fault. While he's ending it he could have been upfront and told him that I don't want to ruin our current relationship because I'm starting to like you more and more. But I understand why he didn't. His recent traumas haven't been healed and happened not too long ago.
Man, this story is so realistic.

Dude you work in an office. If someone you know isn't picking up your calls from an unknown number than you can just email them, you work for the same team, it wouldn't have been that hard to find it even if you didn't remember.
Also you could have texted from an unknown number, it was much more likely for him to see it.
I know his insecurity got in the way but since we live in 2021 now its a bit hard to believe storyline like this. So many device and options for communication. If I promised someone that I'd definitely call them or text them, I would look for different ways to make it true.
Ah whatever, its for plot convenience anyway. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Seme seems like he isn't used to affection from his partners. With his personality I think the previous lovers just became too used to his giving nature and probably just took and took not just financially but emotionally too. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the vibe I get especially after what his friend said a few chapters back about his previous relationships.
The seme is definitely a former victim of abuse. Especially since he said 'like us'. I have a strong feeling that maybe all his victims have been some kind of abusers.
Yeah but that doesn't give him the right to kill all of these ppl ... Like what did that guy ( the first one he killed in the beginning ) do he was just a fan of him ... I can see where u are going cuz he's torturing ah-in's "boyfriend" and he's gonna kill the abusive boyfriend of that other dude but still he killed innocent ppl
