I don't know where else to ask. Is anyone else having problems with notifications of updates? I don't get any at all for some stories and sometimes only find out they've been updated because they show up on the homepage due to their popularity.
I follow a good amount of stories so it's simply not possible for me to go check them individually every other day.
I don't know what to do? ╥﹏╥

Why? Because you won't express that you're feeling are changing. Even a little bit of hint like saying that I've started looking forward to our moments together would be like a lifeline to Uke.
How is he supposed to know that you're starting to feel something more if you bottle it all up?
And even the Uke is at fault. While he's ending it he could have been upfront and told him that I don't want to ruin our current relationship because I'm starting to like you more and more. But I understand why he didn't. His recent traumas haven't been healed and happened not too long ago.
Man, this story is so realistic.

Dude you work in an office. If someone you know isn't picking up your calls from an unknown number than you can just email them, you work for the same team, it wouldn't have been that hard to find it even if you didn't remember.
Also you could have texted from an unknown number, it was much more likely for him to see it.
I know his insecurity got in the way but since we live in 2021 now its a bit hard to believe storyline like this. So many device and options for communication. If I promised someone that I'd definitely call them or text them, I would look for different ways to make it true.
Ah whatever, its for plot convenience anyway. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Seme seems like he isn't used to affection from his partners. With his personality I think the previous lovers just became too used to his giving nature and probably just took and took not just financially but emotionally too. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the vibe I get especially after what his friend said a few chapters back about his previous relationships.

I'm soooo happy that the Director acknowledged that someone of his position showing up unexpected can throw juniors off. Like just the fact that this man has enough self awareness to realize this and then apologize for it is soooo endearing and worthy of respect. With people like his boo or younger partners who are anxious or even your friends or colleagues it's so important to verbally let them know what you think in such situations so that they don't worry themselves to death and lower their self esteem.
A partner who is considerate. What more can a person really need ahhh.... (▰˘◡˘▰)

I feel like I should point out that people who usually watch stuff that is pirated will not otherwise watch or read that content even if the site didn't exist. There will of course be people who can pay but don't want to but for the most part the people who read here are those that won't be able to read those Mangas even if this site didn't exist.
It's the same thing that Netflix and Amazon etc say. They assume that there is a loss of money because of piracy but that money wouldn't have been generated anyway because the people who pirate that stuff wouldn't have gotten a subscription anyway.
Aside from that a lot of the stuff here is old, or Mangas and toons that would never be translated otherwise. Or isn't available on official sites or apps that translate to English.
Also also a chunk of people who read it here inadvertently advertise or hype up the manga or toons on social media which creates more customers for the author.

One thing I absolutely adore about the novel and the author is the way he has included female characters into the story. A lot of fantasy novels will have dragons and what not but the moment you talk about women's absence the writers and fans become defensive and start going on about being realistic.
It's not that hard people, you don't even have to portray any struggles related to gender, just include at least some women characters and write them the way you write men. We are people at the end of the day.
I once had someone argue with me that women in Naruto gave girls unrealistic ideas about strength. Seriously. #-.-)
