There is a simple reasons why I am okay with Do Hyeok while not Suha. He isn't BORING. He is probably the most interesting character in the entire story because he is such a bad character. There is so much to explore and it is rare that we see a character, the villain even, be portrayed in a better way. Usually the author will look past the toxic behaviour but with DoHyeok it is always part of his story.
As for the main characters their fine but their greatest sin is being BORING and dragged out.
There is reason people watch reality TV it is to see interesting personalities. And my last point to all the bad things he has done, yes he has done them, but just like I can forgive a lot of male leads for weird and creepy behaviour, I can forgive a FICTIONAL CHARACTER for a lot of things as long as it is written in a way that captivates my attention. It doesn't have to make sense just be entertaining, and that's what Suha lacks an entertaining personality, especially in the side story.

So I was rereading side story two like I do every so often (the main couple is kinda boring) and the first sexy scene Siwoo drugs and water boards the red head (which could have killed him) and continued while the red head was passed out. Then gets annoyed when the red head fights back.
And then gets surprised when the red head retaliates by getting the bar.
I'm not saying the red head is good guy and he didn't deserve it. But really. You thought he would just let it go. The guy who got arrested.
It's just kinda funny.
Literally! The first two sexual encounters that Dohyeok had with Siwoo were definitely SA, but it's not seen as problematic because Dohyeok had a bad personality and what he did in the past was awful. If I randomly got choked/drowned(?), drugged, hit and SA'd by a total stranger who attacks me unprovoked I would be mad as hell too. Siwoo is actually lucky that Dohyeok is horny af so all he wanted was sex because I would have definitely ruined the entire bloodline of a guy who did such a thing to me.
I didn't read the main story so I only read the side story. I can say the red haired was treated too harshly and I was kinda sad that they broke up cause I liked seeing how the red head was evolving with the other guys influence as little as it was. I liked the two as a toxic couple cause I feel the red haired needed that and it suited them. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I've been reading the comments about how he treated Suha and I tried to read the main story but got bored very quickly so this an opinion without knowing the context of the main story.
The main story is much better also is so so nice and red hair bro was such a pain in ass there also so harmful and a very shitty person I used to hate him so much so now on the side story I didn't feel sorry for him not even one second
If only the ML didn't confined Suha and try to isolate him from the world I would agree but no. The main story is not great either
I gotta say, the sex scene was kinda expected, but all I have to say is... THE MAIN CHARACTER ANNOYED ME TO NO END. LIKE GROW A SPINE. HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO HAS THE BALLS TO STALK SOMEONE NOT HAVE THE BALLS TO STAND UP TO ANY OTHER PERSON. He is willing to do anything for anyone. He is the kind of person who would be bullied not because that's what he looks like or even because someone would bully him but simply becuase the word N.O. is not in his dictionary, so you would accidentally bully him by asking him to do multiple things until it becomes habit or someone points it out. Honestly the kind of person who is not only a giant red flag but just annoying, The entire time I was waiting to see him stand up for himself but he has no bones. No bones and no spine.
As for the Male love interest, I am always up for an unhinged immoral love interest. I am a believer of mens rights and wrongs. What can I say. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
In the novel he's standing up, even in high critical situations, he got into many accidents, i believe he's more polite than a weak character
True! He just gets R'ed over and over. But he is smart and does speak his mind, tho he's shy. Also, he's quite aware, so that makes him stand out.
I can understand that he is shy, I have nothing against that. But there is no excuse for him to follow everything instruction that is given to him. Outside the r*pe scene there is no time when he says no, even to characters that have treated him terribly or wronged him.
I don't expect him to be confident but he should have a bottom line or boundaries that aren't just the extreme.
He gets harassed by that famous actor (the one in hospital) but still continues to help him. This main character is a doormat, boneless, spineless and on the floor.
One of them went for a woman in a relationship. Not faulting only him, it takes two to tango but something about it makes me feel questionable.
Then the other sucks and not in the sexy way but in the sleazy way.
So I hope she ends up with anyone else or alone.
