Maybe yaoi nowadays has become more of the same thing lol. Probably why yaoi manhwa is more prominent nowadays, since they have more room for story

Everyone in this manga except the protagonist is a huge douche. I originally didn't like this manhwa because the protag was a doormat but poor boy is the only normal one lol

Lol I haven't seen such an extreme version of a Mary Sue like the protag since I stopped reading wattpad, it's ridiculous. Literally the entire world of this manhwa revolves around her and how amazing, clever, well liked and wonderful she is. It also doesn't help that every single female character, excluding the mother, is made out to be a villain. Even the mother is a huge doormat and her only purpose so far has been to make the protagonist seem amazing and superior. The other characters are so cliche that it actually hurts.
