I was too ignorant to think that Isayama was gonna finish this on a somewhat happy note. The last panel basically insinuates that history is gonna repeat itself and all the titan shit is gonna ensue once again( possibly an allegory for nuclear weapons and wars irl, idk) I'm happy that Mikasa(I assume that's Mikasa) settled down and married Jean at least. I think her getting married and settling down is the better alternative compared to her just being loyal to a bird and living in solitude for the rest of her life.
