The only ending I will accept is Alexa becoming the empress. Also, I hate characters like her ex-fiancé. He completely turned his back on her and was screwing her sister, but now that she’s beautiful all of a sudden he wants her. What about the other princess then?? Was your relationship or more like you cheating with her all for a mere show. An unfaithful dog. Her sister is also super unlikeable ugh, idc what kinda excuses bish will come up with in the future, hopefully she’ll be sent to a castle in a small countryside village and never shows her pretentious face again.

I feel like the author and the illustrators aren’t that good at executing the emotions and intends of the characters. As a result it’s all pretty confusing. The poor-mediocre translation isn’t helping either.

FL is way too hot headed and is getting on my nerves. She is supposed to be a smart character, yet wears her emotions on her sleeve.
Everyone has to agree with her, otherwise she will immediately resolve to violence like a child throwing a tantrum.
Her arguments don’t even make sense. For example; the royal fam has absolutely tormented and wishing death on the real Alexa, they’re all also pretty incompetent to rule the nation, she’s really well aware of these facts yet found a rebellion to be “wrong”? What else is supposed to be a better outcome? She has long taken the original Alexa’s place and has been doing whatever she wishes, yet turns into a coward who doesn’t deserve the throne?… wth is she even on about.
She also knows Ariel has been doing sketchy ish yet doesn’t dig into it. What affection do u even have for her? Is she a masochist? It doesn’t sit right with me how she’s so foul and disrespectful towards everyone else except her own fam who deserve that type of treatment most.

The best part about this manhwa is the ML. He’s unfortunately too soft hearted for a demon and overall a powerful being. I kind of feel like he’s kinda wasted on the fl since she’s merely a foolish human. At least their romance is pretty cute

The FL has one of my favorite personality’s out of all the MC’s from different manga’s. She is intelligent, beautiful, and especially NOT unnecessary rude or a pushover. Most the time authors write female characters as rude and overbearing just so they come across as strong and independent, what they don’t realise is that those negative traits don’t make a woman “strong”. I highly dislike the deliberate bad writing when it comes to women so I appreciate a respectable person such as Lilian and she’s not too kind either to be considered a pushover. I also really like Celestian, she’s so admirable. I think I like her more than our ML, the emperor. Now then her brother... he ignored her mistreatment and all the torture she was subjected to throughout the years, now he suddenly decides to transform into this overprotective brother when she has finally left the family?? Doesn’t make any sense to me. If you cared so much about her, then sir why didn’t u protect her during all those years when she actually needed you. Now she has no need for you so back off pretentious bastard

The MC is retarded. She wanted to survive and so was give a second chance, yet she’s still willingly taking a beating on the regular. All that running around in circles until she accepted his proposal was really unnecessary. Why was she even blaming the grand duke for her death rather than her father?
Anyways, things would’ve been a lot easier if the MC was smarter. That is indeed frustrating. I will only be satisfied if the grand duke replaces the current emperor and all the rats get executed

I need to thrive off of a regretful bitch of an ex as the fl takes her sweet vengeance. But it didn’t last long enough for me in this webtoon.
I initially wasn’t much interested in whatever will happen later in her life. Boring palace drama which only infuriated me, and boring love…
Not sure if I still look as forward to updates now that the ex is out of the scene. I’m supposed to thrive off of his misery? But he is already freed and gone…
Nevertheless this manhwa has one of the best revenges on a douche ex. Neveda is so lovable and has been through so much. She deserves all the good fortune. I do find her sister to be kind of annoying though. I know it’s not her fault but I can’t help it. I should also feel sorry for her. But I don’t ever enjoy reading about child characters so there is no way around it. I find them to be very unnecessary to the plot, which they are.
I’m interested in adult matters. Also this way she is forced to keep her vile father in her life seen as her kid sis isn’t old enough to officially leave her parents.
I need a more satisfying revenge on both the father and the red king of a *****.
Ok I partially take back what I said because it seems lijken this douche ex doesn’t want to ever F out of her life which works in my favour lol.

Every once in a while I re-read all the chapters for a nice cry to bawl my eyes out. MC is so strong cuz lawd I would’ve killed everyone, then myself

You want to live comfortably and carefree so you choose to become the empress?? Anyways, It’s not really satisfying when the FL is dumb since she’s the character that should be the slyest in my opinion. I’m also not content with the emperor, I find all their scenes together to be boring, cheesy and fORCED. Actually, it would’ve been way more interesting if the governer was the ML. His character is complex and dark, that’s bound to be less boring than our current ML. However, I don’t like him anymore, at the beginning he had chemistry with the FL. Something that the emperor and FL simply don’t have.
The FL gave in too soon to the emperor, I still don’t like the way he’s treating her so besides being boring, he’s a douche at that. Why isn’t he making her empress regrant?? Those sweet words of love seem to be empty. Why isn’t the FL even questioning this sike. Even Paul is annoying, he’s definitely the type to easily irritate me. This man needs to work on his self-awareness and his loyalty to the empress. Shiba is one of the only good characters and she has done her best, girl needs to catch a break, I’m rlly glad that she is pulling back now, since she was being too forceful towards someone who clearly wasn’t interested in her and it’s also enjoyable to see Paul do the chasing for once. I don’t like how in every situation he takes the emperor’s side above the empress. He’s supposed to be her escort. I get it the emperor is above all and he’s the commander of the royal guards, but it can get annoying at times.

So wholesome and not in a cheesy way. MC is smart and realistic, her family actually treat her like a fam. Her lover is a perfect match for her. And above all her relationship with her nephew is so endearing. I’m glad he now has such a reliable loving aunt by his side.
Luca is so darn cute I do not understand how she isn’t constantly biting and kissing his round soft cheeks
The great emperor is really funny Sure he’s pretty cruel in his own way, but still it’s nothing too bad and he loves her.
I really badly wanted them to be on the princess’s side since I value a female successor, and am so glad that’s the case. Author is so sly, at first she tried to throw us off
Istg the grandpa’s dramatic personality is what makes the royal fam he’s so funny.
Judith is a savageee the way she stabbed that imbecile was so badass
