as if everyone dying wasn’t bad enough, su-a died believing her love was not reciprocated and uihyeon, the person above ground, already loved another. NOOOOOOOOOOOO HE LOVED YOU SU-A PLEASEEE— AND THEN HE WENT TO THE PLACE THEY MET AND PRESUMABLY KILLED HIMSELF. IM IN PAINNNN. yk it was completely foreshadowed since the beginning that she’d trade her life for the one she loves but that doesn’t mean i was prepared. on a nicer note tho the little mermaid allegory was too beautiful, so beautiful in fact that it stomped on my heart and shattered it into tiny pieces. my only complaint is that i wish we could’ve see uihyeon wake the morning(?) after su-a died in his place, just to really shove the angst down our throats
