I hope now all the hate comments towards Nan will understand a bit on why he's so scared! You as an outsider can say do this do that easily but you if you were in the shoes of the character you wouldn't be saying why he's so scared and all. I have said it before and I'll say it again it is okay to be scared. With a childhood background like that anyone would be scared and under no circumstances I can ever hate Nan!
