I don't know what's so hard to understand here

It's just isekai. There are always the same reasons for being born again like being a good person at heart or deserving something better or because one wished to have a do-over. And for the memory I think it's just that MC didn't have them because it was such a hard time and very traumatic. ML always had them (in both new lives) to be the better person because he was so harmful and got another chance. I think people over-analyze things. It's just isekai. + there are always the people who understand nothing and just write what they think as facts and confuse the other readers. I can't put it into better words because English isn't my first language

I love isekais so i understand those reasons but the parallel universes+book explaining their life mixup isn’t familiar territory for methanks for the reply I hope we get that explanation of why and how eventually even if its offhand. do you have a hypothesis why the ml couldn’t remember the past lives in the beginning of the third life but gradually did?

THIS! More people dont seem to realise the laws of isekai and keep thinking it must be DID. It's not.
The "repressed memories" that Huimin has are parts of the story that Ilheon has been trying to change because he knows from having read the book in the real world after he isekaied there (ch 54) that if he changes those parts, Huimin will stay with him in the book.

Hmmm, my personal hypothesis would be that his brain supressed it because of trauma. And while he healed he remembered bits and pieces. By the time he accepted ML and the worst parts of his past (failed pregnenacy) he got his memories back (what's seen as his realisation before ML's flashback). But don't take my personal opinion as facts, I also just read the new chapter every week and don't have the full recollection of everything "together"!
I love Garam being cold like this!
