It's indicated in the first thought of sol that Brian's mana is almost gone which states that lorkan actually absorbed Brian's mana (assisted by sol) just to replace Brian's mana with Lorkan kinda hinting that Lorkan wants Brian now and trying to "reclaim" Brian as his. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Omg wait i interpreted it wrongly omg so sorry. I re read it and basically the mana can only be transferred through physical touch (likely intimacy type) so i think sol knew so he got angry at Lorkan bcs he knew that Lorkan touched Brian ╥﹏╥
