As a writer can i say something!!
In my stories, i've written rapes, not because i like it (quite the opposite;;;;; ) but because the characters just happened to be at the wrong place wrong time AND with the wrong people, and sometimes it's not something you can skip or just delete from the scenario, because if you follow how the characters would act in a certain setting, well sometimes somehow it comes to rape AND IT SUCKS (but yeah usually bad things happened with bad people, no shit)
I don't know if it makes any sense if you've never written a story because you could think "but you literally write the story" and well yes and no, just try it for yourself and you'll see.
So in this story, it's horrible, but it just makes sense that Zeus rapes him multiple times, because that's how the character will behave if no one is able to stop him and actually manages to.
Now ml could have done so much better by the end of their relationship, idk it sort of ticks me off even though they're supposed to be happy BUT i won't deny that mc got a massive upgrade in his life and I'M SO GLAD ABOUT IT UEUEEEUEUEEUEUEUEUE MY BABY BOY.
although rape does happen and in some cases is important to the plot, most of these scenes were unnecessary and pretty sexual. instead of making rape something for people to use as fap material in a short story literally made with sexual intentions, the author could've simply implied it, rather than showing it multiple times. （￣へ￣）

but i agree that after one time we could have skipped the whole thing and only witness the aftermath of it (aka mc slowly losing his will to live) + that would have made the rapes even more scary, so unless the author wanted to show a particularly traumatic event during the rape no need to write them in at some point, i do agree
REAL this is actually a good manhwa and has nice plot, if only the author didn't have r4p3 kink like pretty much everything else is nice?
I'm not a good writer but I do have a lot of stories I play out in my head and attempt to write down, none, except one have involved rape, BUT this story was based off of real events that happened to people that were told on news or other platforms, and the entire story was about bad things that happen in the real qorld into a fantasy and less advanced world, but it's not exactly directed toward the mc, only is ever there once and does have an effect in the story but was a choice, and not used again.if course different stories, very different sure.
however, when writing a story, especially when you're planning to make it a story read by other people it IS a choice to write it down and keep it, you can go back in your story and change things if needed, and to be fairly honest, in this case with this story it was absolutely pointless. their are countless different things zeus(I think that's what he went by right??) could have done in this story that could tie mc down and be scared to escape. this was absolutely 100% a CHOICE made when writing and making this story.
this is my personal opinion on what you wrote. but I do understand where your coming from. you could see it as killing off characters for example. that's the best way I can understand it lol
Completely understand everything you said; however; I feel like the rape scenes was presented poorly. In many cases the trauma behind a character makes you understand the character a little bit better.(nah shit) To me the rape scenes were unnecessary. (somebody already stated that) Not even that. Like I said it was just poorly “represented”. The author was just throwing it in. It didn’t even make the main character look better. I’m not good with my words, but it didn’t make the mc look better in the sense that he grew from the trauma. The trauma didn’t even look like trauma. It felt like a script. In my eyes, the rape was overlooked. All he did was get his ass beat. And i understand trauma takes form in different ways, but it looked like he didn’t even care.

I wonder where the story is going to go now though, because, there clearly can't be a happy ending here (though, i thought the same about rose and champagne but it looks like i underestimated the power of the BLB (BL bullshit, aka, of course it can be love if the scenario justificates it well enough) "of course they can stay together look the bottom is as crazy as the top and not suffering from some sort of copping due to traumas no way!"
