Guys I just binged this manhwa today and I’m brainrot obsessed. I’m so abnormal about this story that after seeing people in the comments forget or be confused about the plot, I wrote a 1.6k word summary about it LMAOO

But here’s the short version of that summary. I might put the long ass summary in the replies too though because why is this plot so convoluted???

SPOILERS:

- Nigel learns that the world is just a game and his knight Inas is actually a transmigrator who has been stuck in a time loop for a LONG ass time
- Nigel gets a quest from the god of this world’s incarnate (Glarus) to eliminate Inas because he’s a foreign entity and is the one causing these time loops
- A lot of things happen but Nigel learns that he isn’t just a NPC but also a transmigrator like Inas and his real name is Jiwoon. He took over the body of OG!Nigel after his car accident on Earth because OG!Nigel learned the true nature of this world on like Inas’s 187th loop. OG!Nigel then gave up his body to escape and thus became the god’s incarnate Glarus, aka the one giving MC quests.
- Nigel begs Inas to return back to the real world with him; Inas refuses and steals MC’s duke title while MC runs away to a diff mansion.
- Half a year later and shit is going down. Kay (the game’s protag/hero who regained all memories and hates Inas) and Etna (Nigel’s older brother who wants to kill the MC because he took over OG!Nigel’s body) is causing chaos. MC also learns from Glarus that this is the world’s last session meaning there will be no more time loops after this and the world will be destroyed.
- Nigel regains even more memories and learns that HE was actually the original first transmigrator long before Inas even was (Inas is user01 while Jiwoon is user00) Nigel/Jiwoon was actually the one who was stuck in an eternal loop first and over time lost his humanity but fell in love with Inas, who was just a normal NPC. Eventually, Jiwoon got a skill that let him transfer his time loop powers to somebody else. Inas, out of love, consented to being Jiwoon’s sacrifice/victim (thus the title “how to raise a victim/sacrifice”) and took on his burden of time loops. Thus, Jiwoon forgot all his time looping memories and became the NPC Nigel while Inas believed HE was the real transmigrator. So Inas suffered in Jiwoon’s stead and suffered for a long ass time because of it before he eventually remembered the whole truth that Inas is the NPC and Nigel is the real transmigrator (thus why Inas refused the MC to go back to the real world)
- After regaining memories, Inas and Nigel go to stop the world’s end by stopping this magic orb thing that’s causing demons to run loose. Inas also combines his powers with the magic orb to create a multi-dimensional portal for Nigel to get sent back to the real world. Nigel wants to stay with Inas but Inas sacrifices all his power and sends Nigel back
- (This is where season 2 starts) Nigel wakes up as Jiwoon in the modern world except everything is an illusion and that’s where we’re up to date

Yeah so basically Avel tribe descended from the black shark and Tukiri from the white. This happened as a result of the sharks mating with land goddesses. The children of both sharks were born. On the topic of rape in media, I would like to discuss fiction vs morality and how that line is interchangeable. I’ve been reading BL on this website for 5 years, I’ve been reading other romance manga way longer. We’ve all seen the same thing over and over. Rape is normalized in yaoi culture, it’s the truth whether you like it or not. You can say that you can tell fiction from reality but that only shows where your morals lay. Do you enjoy it? Is the normal stuff boring? Do you need something more exciting? Why is it ok in fiction for someone to be forcibly taken against their will? So you can get off?
Let me use a different perspective: gore. I love horror but do I enjoy torture gore? Of course not and most people who do don’t turn out to be the best of people. People who glorify gore in media usually end up harming someone else. People who are desensitized to gore still, say it with me now, SEE IT AS A TERRIBLE THING. This is especially the case in rape in media and why it shouldn’t be glorified. YOU might not even THINK about harming someone in that way but because it’s so normalized others think they can do the same. This is an especially sad case in BL media as women glorify it to such a disgusting extent, but let it be a woman in that place and suddenly it’s a problem.
This is especially disgusting when a child is involved. There is no separation of fiction and reality when you acknowledge what you’re reading is wrong. Do you enjoy reading child porn? Even if it’s fictional, do you find it ok? If your answer is yes then I would like to direct you to a book called Lolita, where a little girl is raped by her step father. She thought it was consensual so it must be fine bc it’s fiction, correct? You people only excuse it when it’s attractive young men/boys bc you’re perverts. Read as much smut as you want, I won’t judge you for indulging in lust but who you are as a person is shit to me when you erase your morals to get off. THE MAIN STORY:

What in the fuck? Neither of them changed even after two years, then again everyone is different and knowing the Uke, he probably didn’t try to change to make an improvement so it makes sense he’s still like the way he was before the 2 year time skip.

If a person never tries to change, you shouldn’t expect things to change naturally. You are the host and it’s your life, your choices, never wait for someone to come and say: “Damn you seem to be in need of help, want a hand?”. Just a bit of an exaggeration.

And I’m not saying getting help is bad because we all know we need help right? Especially therapy because we can’t do it ourselves and we can’t understand ourselves, other helps, etc.

The seme didn’t change much either, he still loves the Uke. That’s some strong feeling right there. He is still desperate for uke’s love and I wish I could’ve seen a development where he learned to let go. Though I can’t be the one to say because I don’t have the feeling the seme feels.

And if he really had that development to let go and move on, I know many of you want the Uke to chase after the seme but isn’t that just what the seme is doing and you don’t like it but want that to happen with Uke?

It felt like the Uke accepted only because he wanted someone by his side while the seme truly love the Uke no matter what, even after knowing he’s hurt your feelings and made you insecure and never explaining to you why.

THE ONESHOT STORY:

I don’t get the hype. This one isn’t all that good but if you compare it to the main story, it’s more fluffy and a bit better. Much less angst too and no problems being dragged on for the plot, I guess this is another reason why I love one shots / short stories.

Something that bothered me is how a person can fall in love quickly after being complimented about your passion but hey! It’s just my opinion, no hard feelings! This is fiction after all but I like to be realistic a lot hehe, I mean then again in reality, people fall in love easily so this isn’t super unrealistic.

Overall the main problem for me was that.

> The current Duke of the Winterwald ( not Rudiger ) is already aware right from the beginning that Luca is not blood-related. So is Luca’s father, Jonas. The duke does not care who becomes the heir to his duchy.

> Judith is the grand daughter of Greta or Margaret ( the former king’s sister ). Greta eloped with a commoner since he was handsome ( no fr its true ). This is why the former king became overprotective of Vanessa, who was Greta’s sister, because the former king thinks Vanessa will also end up like Greta. And she did “end up” like Greta because the former king was borderline overprotective. Greta eloped with the duke ( The Winterwald’s current Duke ) not because Greta loved him but it was the only way to escape from the King’s clutches since the Duke loved Greta’s maid named Sophie. Sophie is the current duchess of the Winterwald.

> Vanessa was very promiscuous and would sleep around until she got pregnant. Assuming it was one-night-stand, she was not able to know who the father of her child. When she gave birth to Jonas, she regretfully died. And that is why Jonas ended up with the Duke and Rudiger at the same time as “brothers”. In short an illegitimate son.
