This man does not deserve the airtime, author!!! 3 chapters of rehashing over the same idiot? It's a waste of time for the MC---I feel awful for her!! She's got better uses for her time!!
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Life is like that, though--when speaking to idiots in denial, you have to repeat yourself a lot. I'm so sorry, lady.
Good lord. Don't waste more than a chapter on this dude, author--you don't need to explain it more than once, we've all seen assholes like this...just cut right to our lady kicking where the sun don't shine! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I do like the blushing twist, just feel like it didn't need a two-chapter line up.
I have a question...is this guy already king of his country, or is he the first prince? Just wondering if he's following orders, or if this was his plan to begin with. (not that I'm judging, the MC's dad is a stupid idiot who obviously needs more incentive to keep his promises and do what he's being paid to do--taking a hostage is a fairly bloodless solution, i think. smart move.)
Gotcha! well, it is a pretty smart move, and probably rather low-risk for him to go himself, since they had magic to get over the borders, which are the only place her country uses magic to defend themselves... I wonder if it was his sense of etiquette, to go himself if he's going to kidnap another royal, and if that's why he's not letting anyone else ride with/take care of her. sorta a way to apologize for what he's doing by doing it himself?
I too think its because he has a strong moral/etiquette (since he asked for her collaboration and didn't want to have her harmed in any way) and she still is from a royal family that he currently has a peace treaty with. He could have rage a war since technically her father's kingdom failed to abide to their contract but instead he chose to kidnap only one princess to use as a negotiation piece to reopen the road again. I also think its the norms back in the days because it'll be weird if a princess rides with a knight - rumours may start if people found out and her reputation would then be tarnished thus he would then be responsible for her.
Mister, you better come home quick—the scary little miss is accidentally seducing another jerk.
But I am curious... Why does this always happen? The guys that are bastards the first time around are suddenly so nice to the girl who mysteriously hates then at first sight. Masochism. Scary stuff. It's times like this that I'm grateful for real life.
Okay, does anyone else think it is ADORABLE that Lucas snapped them into matching outfits? Or that those outfits just happened to be in his own colors (red and black)? Or that he even went so far as to put flowers in her hair that match her eyes? He's oblivious to his feelings, yet so cute about it at the same time. So fun!!
gotta say, I'm loving this role reversal--a girl who knows how to think for and take care of herself, helping rescue the meek, selfless hero from unhealthy psychological standards. You rescue that sugar-danish in distress, girl!
also... ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ...those eyes of his in the credits image get me every time. he's smitten. those are some sexy worshipful bedroom eyes if i've ever seen them. Ho, boy! I need some ice.
