Okey, so this is my interpretation:
Jaekyung just put in a mask an acted this way becouse he don't want Dan to do other job - he saw him all exousted and hurt and he don't want him to continue that - especially that he did that to buy him a birthday gift. Sooo he tell most of the stuff to discourage Dan (toxic as hell but wel....) ^^^ how delulu i am to believe that ? xD

In BJ Alex we had DG (mosty) AMD Jiwon's pov, thanks to that we knew what is he thinkink, why he does things he does, and by that we didn't percive him as such an asshole... But for Jaekyung we don't have that, it's entarly Dan's pov so we can't understand a shit about what Jaekyung does, his morivations and all...
