i've only read a few chapters but I'm kinda disappointed that they never bring up that women can cheat too. It's like women are blindly in love with any guy they date, kinda of infantilzing them and removing agency, while guys are just dying to have sex all the time. It gives very much traditional and conservative vibes. Of course I have to keep in mind that this was written for a different audience with a different culture, but some things feel very 2010s.

The story does show unfaithful women and affairs of women which end up hurting the male, but this is mainly based on Sally's point of view.
I think she believes that in a relationship, a woman has more to lose and is more emotionally invested therefore more emotionally distraught.
So she herself puts on colored lenses and pretends that her clients are always right and just and doing things out of love when they're essentially setting up with their boyfriends with someone.
And god forbid that they start to like her after she dons the role of the ideal girl( everyone has their ideal someone. I do, you do. Just everyone. And she knows the ideal because the girl has given sally every detail) then they're cheating.
Sally herself believes in that the strongest because she has seen many women genuinely hurt by men (she doesn't look at the other side tho..so biased). And therefore has tried numerous times to judge Benny.
Now what if Benny does the same?

I really dislike the obligatory maid/friend in this manwhas. Already it's a weird relationship since not only is it being friends with your boss, but adding to the complete blind devotion of the maid characters makes it extra gross. She's not your friend, you'll never treat her like an equal.
And the Manwha doesn't even try to pretend that their equals. It always give an air of 'you should be lucky to serve me' which is gross. It's the whole blind devotion that creeps me out, it gives major cult vibes. And it's worse when the FL used to be awful and abuse the maid character, but suddenly because they've gotten the bare minimum of kindness or apology, they worship the FL like she's a goddess.

Ngl, if I worked hard to get into a theatre troupe and some random nepotism baby came and started giving me orders, I would be bitter too. I don't get why these stories need to have the FL succeeding immediately. She can struggle a bit to get credibility before she starts giving orders to professionals.

I think the reason we think Aileen is sus, is because she's not 100% trusting of Sylvia. For good reason. Sylvia was a massive bitch. Her sister changed drastically personality wise in such a short time, and as much as Aileen wants to enjoy this new relationship with Sylvia, she's not sure when the abuse might start up again. The fact that Aileen even tries to form a semblance of a normal sibling relationship with Sylvia is also pretty bizarre.
To be honest, considering Sylvia's previous actions, she does deserve the suspicion from her family. She used her inferiority complex to harass someone who had unconditional love for her, which is fucked. I don't think the family is bad, they're just rightfully wary of Sylvia.

I'm so glad the Male lead is the prince. I feel like he's the only one who can truly empathise with our Fl. Both ostracised by their family, and with awful reputations which were probably placed on them before they even had a chance to prove otherwise. Though, I also like the wizard guy, he would be my pick, but from the beginning he would never had a chance to be with her.

So many people saying Riftan genuinely cares for her and loves her. Where? I don't think either of them love each other yet, which makes sense. It's an arranged marriage and they haven't had a proper conversation in all these 26 chapter. They don't know each other. They both respect that they're married to each other and try to be the best wife and husband(some better than others), but they ain't a loving couple. I think them being a proper couple will come many chapters later.
Sure he's been good to her and hasn't abused her, but that's the bare minimum. For everyone who wants a relationship like this, why? What part of their relationship gives you butterflies? Genuine question.
I wish they would explain why the first prince likes her? She hasn't done anything that likeable, sure she's nice, but she hasn't done anything that would make someone love her. Especially her past self, which the prince still liked. So I just don't know why he has such strong unconditional love for her.
It's probably going to be because she said something to him in the past, which also doesn't explain why he would love her, but that's manga logic. Can someone spoil it to me.
Why should be there a reason. He could have been so desperately in love with her, he did not care for the throne, that she chose another, just as long as she could be happy. There are people like that, especially in fantasy...
I mean usually you like someone for a reason. Especially its unconditional love.
maybe because she reminds him of his mother? wait no....
This is too freudian for me lol
Confirmed in the latest chapter sksksksk
