What a disappointing translation. Why use google translate to translate something that it's already being properly translate by a competent scan group? Not only that, you are working on a project that someone else started, isn't properly cleaning/redrawing and you are using raws with watermarks while the other releases aren't using toonkor raws. If you want to work on something, work on something that isn't already being done by someone else. The quality is abysmally different from the previous releases, I wonder if people here will be satisfied with this (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I unfortunately agree, the English is atrocious. I hate to add my two cents here ,but word choice doesn't line up with what was said in Korean that well... ;; Sometimes, just using Google translate to blindly translate isn't good enough... especially in languages that have a different grammatical structure and cultural nuances... ;; /sometimes private gifts should stay private ;;
I don't fully understand why the crazy seme said "Do you still remember having sex with me?". The only sex scene so far in the manhwa happens in the near future, since the uke in that scene has the tattoo and the different hair style than the one in the college years/past timeline. So maybe they had sex in the past, or it was mistranslated or the seme is being/acting weird.
Overall I'm feeling really bad for the uke, only people that are either interested/using him for his painting or are bat shit crazy (in the case of the seme both), goes after him. That must be pretty hard not being loved for who you are. So I'm in the fence when it comes to the seme, if he is too crazy I don't want to ship them. If all he did was because he was trying to protect the seme from the toxic girlfriend maybe I can support him, but if he only get's hard or are interested in the uke because of the paintings that would be too weird.
PS: just looked at the raws and I think I know what happens and why he says that, just two chapters more before that
I thought he said that since he was referring to the sex he had with the ex-gf. Like since he fell in-love with the white-haired guy's paintings, he had sex with the ex-gf who was basically impersonating him (i.e. acting like the paintings were her own). That's what I got from that. Also, him being a dick to hit him where it hurts.
Did they? When I saw the raws I thought that the crazy seme went a little crazy and when he saw the uke girlfriend he imagined the uke in her place, and that's why he had sex with her. He thought in his head that he was having sex with the uke. But I guess I'll have to wait and see. The manhwa is already at chapter 18 and they make some nice improvements in their relationship.
I understand the desire to translate the series, but why not focus on a manhwa that doesn't have a english release already? This way you'll bring a piece work that doesn't have a proper english version to someone that may be interested in reading it. So many great mangas/manhwas out there remain in their native language, I think it's a waste off effort and talent to work on something that is already being translated by someone else and in this case officially translated ¯_(ツ)_/¯
But I wish the mangaka ha develop their relationship for a bit longer. So much time was expend on side stories, on backstory, on dialogues that didn't advance their status or only in the conflict between them that I wasn't enthusiastic about them being together. I guess I want more lovey dovey scenes or Shou being more sweet to Makoto, it was a little disappointing the way he treated Makoto for most of the manga. He is a slutty uke, but so sweet at the same time. Makoto is hard working, nice, good at heart, treats everyone well, precious, cute and isn't mean to anyone, even when people are mean to him. Everything that he does is for the district and -spoilers- for Shou, and that shows how much he loves Shou. Yet Shou never showed the same amount of effort for Makoto. Anyway, still worth to read until the end.
Making them stepbrothers to create conflict is a cheap way to advance the manhwa forward. But, if the author wan't to go there, so be it. I wish they found another way to create conflict/drama for the second couple.
