Considering there's a chance for a third season (some people talked about it before), here's a possible story the next season would be all about. People arrived late and assumed Sangwoo had died inside his burning house. They rescued Seungbae and Bum. Bum got himself treated and became close friends with Seungbae who got his job back after telling the police what happened. Weeks, months, or years passed and everything was going well. Unknown to them, Sangwoo's still alive and was actually spying on their daily lives while healing. Then he strikes and kills one by one just as he planned, kidnaps Bum and make him lose his sanity again, then kills both of them in the end.
I hope that this will NEVER happen, but the way you wrote it, I like it. For me it would make a sense. Like, sangwoo wants "revenge". Can't wait to see how the author will continue!
