Well, since she keeps repeating the words "he's gonna eat me" it kinda gives it the connotation that he literally is going to eat her. Plus it is a 19+ Bl novel and she mentioned there was lots of gore and sex, but she thinks he's literally going to eat her
When she says that he eat her in the original, yes, it is literally eating her flesh and not the sexual connotation. In the prologue (chapter 0) even shows teeths and blood when says she was eaten... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Of course, even knowing what they want to say, it's hard not to think about the second meaning (▰˘◡˘▰)
