Taku didn't know what love was, he got into this relationship not expecting it. He just thought he saw something fun and ended up falling too deep. He wanted to comfort Haesoo's empty void but ended up being the one who was empty. He learned what love was and wanted to hold onto the person who made him feel that way. Taku knew Haesoos love was not directed to him and that they loved each other. He knew that the day would come. He tried desperately to hold onto him and wished for the guy who taught him love to love him back. I pity him for falling in love with someone who never "loved" him. Haesoo went to him when he needed comfort or somewhere to run to. He used him as a temporary escape, well ig they both did in a way. Honestly I kinda had a feeling who the endgame was.
A story where two guys liked each other. While wanting the best for one another, they end up hurting each other because both were never honest about how they felt. One tries to run away wanting comfort, bringing in the third character who just thought this was something entertaining yet in a way comforting. Then the two main characters(the ones with a history) realize they love each other and finally become honest, leaving the guy who was spinned into the story hurt and alone. He was just the temporary comfort, the temporary escape, the plan b.
This was a good story, I enjoyed seeing how everything connected together. The art was nice and I really liked the character designs. I honestly feel for Taku, I hope he gets his happy ending, he seems like a lonely character who deserves better. I feel like there are many people who like Taku just for his character design and people who hate him because of those people. He has a deeper story. Also for Haesoo and Juwoon, their story sure was complicated. Their parents especially were such a headache, I'm happy things worked out for them.
I agree with most of your thoughts.
Taku seemed to be interested in Haesoo BECAUSE of haesoo's love for Joowon. He thought it'd be interesting to push into the middle of their relationship and that Haesoo was a good subject for his exhibition after reading his story. He was using Haesoo just as much as Haesoo was using him too, and was planning on leaving after shaking things up ("I want to read the story he writes when im gone").
Idk if lonely is the exact word,, but he did seem emotionally stunted to me in how he couldn't differentiate his partners from photography subjects to lovers. at least up until the point he started feeling more than he actually intended towards Haesoo.
so basically he manipulated and groomed a vulnerable underaged minor into have se* with him and also fu**ed her mom too...this is messed up wtf
