As an actual kid in her early teens, its just unfair to judge her as the same as an isekaied adult because she was never given the opportunity to hone her social skills and thinking skills, allowed to stay as naive and clueless; the way the adults wanted her to be.
In her defense, she didnt know who claude's bro was, not like she has the convenient isekai ability of knowing the entire plot. Many kids get conned by those who try to be close to them. Claude's bro know this, got close to her by choosing a bow for her "out of good intentions".

the thing is, she's just abnormally clueless. "yea but that was how they raised her, it was their goal", yes it was. the thing is, she has a *flat* personality, "the airhead" type. its just slightly unnatural. i personally think the author exaggerated her when it came to being ignorant.
a chunk of the readers, including myself, had an expectation that jeanette would be a little more diverse when it came to expressing emotions (literally all she does is be happy go lucky or confused, rarely sad), deciding what to do (she stays with the airhead mentality so every action she does is expected), etc.
unfortunately, she didn't meet those expectations so a bunch of us don't really like her. i know judging "a kid who was raised as a pawn so didn't have the opportunity to hone her social skills and thinking skills" is sad but even so we just don't really like her.
also, just her being near claude just adds fuel to the fire when it comes to disliking her.
NUTSHELL: yea, we're completely aware of her circumstances, but we still dislike her
(btw, i dont despise her that much. she's a refreshing character to look at because she's the only relief from the stress from the rest of the story. she's a needed character to move the plot, considering that, i cannot hate her lmfao!!! shes the reason why this story is even moving at all!!)

True, it is too common and usually I'd actually dislike it. However, I surprisingly have a soft spot for her. It may be because I know the love Athy recieves was supposed to be hers so I feel bad for her (not that she deserved it any more than Athy but hey, now she is the one who is abandoned)
