I think it's because she changed as a person and is no longer acting as before, so since she pays no special interest in him like before he becomes curious to why that is and then falls in love with her.

So he fell in love just because she became different?? I mean he didnt really know that shes not the late Kayena, he just know that she doesnt act like she used to now.

Sooooo based on the replies, he fell in love because plot? Thats too bad. I really liked the art and the story. I really love Kayena too, the only thing thats bothering me is that. I dont want for them to end up together because it seems so convenient but I think they would. My only hope now is that I wish this story wouldnt focus on their 'love story'. Hm... somehow I feel like it's more than someone else getting into her body? If you read the first chapters again and pay attention you'll see. She talks as if she was Cayena before reincarnating on modern earth reading the novel and going back on time and living as Cayena again.
Also... it's not over a bruised ego due to her not being interested anymore. She was forceful, vain, tactless, selfish... and very obsessed with him... so it's more of seeing she is not that bad now that she is acting like a normal person instead of getting interested over her being over it.
She had the position, wealth and looks to attract many man... and now has the personality too... so I see no reason for him and everyone else to not fall for her... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Hm... yes. I meant that the OG, her 1st go as Cayena, had enough problems to offset everything that could make him fall for her. In particular how she was obsessed and being used without even knowing.
Think like this: you know this person who's always in a bad mood, it's rude and has bouts of hysteria. And that's the image you have of them. Then one day that person starts to act normal. Not really cheerful but just polite and doesn't get hysterical over little things anymore. So you start to notice they actually have good points and a nice side to them and that they can be quite caring. So your image of them changes amd you even become friends. To you the just suddenly changed for the better. To thwm they might habe gone through something shocking or even found out their behavior was due to a health problem and dealt with it.
The Cayena now is like that on the view of the others. The tea, the minimal physical contact are things that she knew before but didn't get to use. In contrast her more mature and intelligent behavior allows him to lower his guard enough to see what her awful behavior covered.

i have this same issue. my friend who reads the novel also have the same issue. she said the characterisation is not adapted well enough. in the novel, the ml’s thoughts were explored in more details. in rhe manhwa i feel like he finds her interesting for...... brewing some delicious tea? like. idk why the manhwa put so much emphasize that hes so gobsmacked by this tea the mc brews. like..... the source material exists, lets focus on other things. so it just feels. what?

Right?? Others didnt know that she has other memories, he doesnt know that she has other memories so why does it seem like hes falling for her in this story. Like I said on my post, I get it if he started getting comfortable with being friends with her because Kayena is became nice and polite but falling inlove?? I dont think thats possible

You realize every person is different? Some ppl literally can fall inlove just by smiling at them, im sure he still not acknowledging he has fallen love but he knows his intrested

Then that means that hes been annoyed with her from childhood. Or am I wrong?
