I think the name Mizuchi although has its own meaning also comes from Mizuko, meaning water child/stillborn/abortion. Because of how the fetus looks, a lot of Eastern myth compares unborn children to sea creatures. All these shinki are people who've died in misery and regret, then we have poor Nora who never had a chance to live.
Maryjun is the type to pull up to a starbucks drivethru window in her daddy's SUV, order a frappe, then drive off, snapping a selfie of herself driving and drinking her frappe for instagram, in her road ignorance driving through a red light and killing a family in a smaller sedan while she barely has a scratch on papa's car, then not getting arrested for manslaughter because she a 'good girl' with a 'lovely' personality. Vio has plenty of reasons to hate Maryjun and ignorance is a huge one. How tf can you go to your step sister's house as a mistress' child, knowing the only reason you're there is because your step sister's mom died, and you're being clearly favored. It's a delicate and sensitive environment, have a little tact! And vio is considering liking her sister now? imo dad is unforgivable, maryjun sure forgive her but don't treat her like a sister. If anyone is family to vio it's that maid.
Prince: I dunt think she likes me anymore qq
Me: Good you ahole!! Vio. Deserves. Better!!!!!

Shiratori sudden mean streak is so disappointing. Why can't the love rival ever just be a nice guy without some hidden backstory. We all know Sumi and Utou are gonna end up together just from the cover art. But it feels so cheap that Sumi will now choose Utou only because Shiratori has issues. Why can't the author just make Sumi choose Utou because of love? Cause now it's in the back of my mind that if Shiratori was simply a nice guy with no hidden agenda Sumi would have stayed and Utou wouldn't have the will to rescue Sumi from a bad relationship. Leaves a bitter taste.
Personally I still think sumi would have choose utou even if he alpha was painted out to be a good guy, because he fell for utous kindness and other factors. Shiratori was kind but still, there wasn’t a connection between them at all. Even before the bite, he would have choose utou, just timing wasn’t on their side
yes please. Manga is such a stress relief. But then reading these types of manga, it's like watching the news all the time where its just the same things: war/school shootings/global warming/animal poachers/shitty people in general/entertainment news about other kinds of shitty people. if you can recommend a manga where everyone is just good people, but the heart's gotta follow the heart then pleaseeee!!!
Here it is:

I don't know if you guys have read it or if you actually would and would have a different opinion from me, but I really thought this manga has such a well-executed love triangle. I thought the characters were nice and not needlessly cruel like the ones I've read before. There's still some angst, but you know, you kind of understand why they did what they did and you get where they're coming from.
Anyway, hope you guys like it!
Ugetsu shouldn't say sorry for loving the violin and being a genius at it. Kaji viewed Ugetsu as a rival at first and at the same time was inspired by Ugetsu's music. When they started a relationship, Kaji's views didn't change. Kaji was always jealous of Ugetsu's natural talent yet at the same time wanted to cage him for himself. And because of that he kept holding and leeching onto Ugetsu, eventually Ugetsu felt suffocated and his music started to suffer. Ugetsu shouldn't sacrifice his passion for anyone.
Now I can only feel bad for Ugetsu. Because not only was it a toxic relationship, Kaji isolated Ugetsu. They both had no friends and both their families are distant. And sure they both slept around. But I view it as cries for help and wanting to give the other person a reason to run away. But because they were so deeply isolated with each other they could never open their hearts to anyone else and couldn't leave each other.
Had Kaji been supportive since the beginning and put his envy aside, they would have had a perfect relationship. At the same time, Ugetsu noticed early on that Kaji was building resentment towards him and could have just spoken up instead of just saying 'lets break up' without any closure. Because of that they held on for 2 more years. But now Kaji has a band, Haruki and a solid support system. I get Ugetsu's anger: It's not fair. Their unhappiness started from Kaji, so why does he get to escape and be happy first? In the end Kaji got what he wanted: he robbed Ugetsu and defiled his music. Ugetsu can finally be free now, but it sucks because he knows he's now truly alone and that's scary. Remember that chapter where Ugetsu oh so casually tells Mafuyu the reason he's telling him his backstory is because he has no friends. The way he just accepts having no one and being in this situation is so sad.
... That said it's hard to hate on Kaji. They met in high school, were each other's first love and it isn't surprising that they both had moments of immaturity that just built up over time.
seme: LOL I know your weakness how you like some guy with a family or whatever, you better be listening to me now!
uke: oh no! He knows my biggest secret! Not like rape is a criminal offense and will forever be on seme's record and prison life is so easy and after prison it'll be oh so simple to find a job and support a half decent living in one of the most expensive countries to live in boo hoo I guess I'm just going to be seme's slave but all forgivable cuz it turns out he loves me and i stockholm love him toooooo crying in happiness
Can someone explain to me how Zeke's royal blood works? From my understanding, eldians that ingest his spinal fluids becomes titans under his control. So when Zeke tells Falco to specifically kill Reiner, why does Falco go for jaws when he was so close to accomplishing Zeke's orders? All he had to do was put a little more bite to it. More like plot armor titan... (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
zeke can control the titans thanks to his spinal fluids but that doesn't mean that he has absolute control over them, remember the time when zeke tells one of the titans not to eat a soldier (from levi squad) but the titan doesn't obey so seke has to kill him. The power that zeke has over the titan is limited and more so when he is in his human form and wounded, titans are beast and they follow their instinct, in this case would be to eat, and the jaw titan was already out of the titan while reinder was still inside
omg! I had to find that chapter again to re-read and it was such an insignificant scene at the time, you have amazing memory. I guess I'm just getting frustrated that Reiner keeps surviving, but just barely. With all of Reiner's character growth, I would have been satisfied if he'd finally die. Whereas I'd have loved to see jaw's reaction when reiner dies and have an existential crisis that being a chosen warrior sucks and by being the next jaws he basically spat all over his brother's sacrifice, this whole cycle of hate is dumb, and his rivalry that he had with reiner in the larger scale means nothing.
Everyone's so straight forward, even the kids. The typical misunderstanding dance off is missing, and it's kind of nice. And the oral hygiene is so thoughtful. Is this omegaverse? Where am I?
THE misunderstanding is still there.
Omega thinks of himself as interloper in a high class man's life and stole the position meant for someone else.
Alpha thinks Omega doesn't like him and wants nothing to do with him while it seems the Alpha is in love with the Omega.
It is mutual unrequited love and they missed out on being together for so many years because of the Omega's sense of inferiority and not confessing and the Alpha being shy and stoic.
Confused. The bad guy are the tutor's dad and the student's mom. Having that affair she hurt her husband and son, but since she's gone let's have them suffer even more? I don't get it. The only difference between tutor's mom and student's dad is that the student's dad didn't kill himself. And where's the tutor's dad in all of this? He left cause his wife is 'crazy' and I'm starting to side with him. She's so extra her ghost is haunting an innocent boy's dreams. Like wtf...
Also, can someone explain to me the grading system? First few chapter he got 92 and 94, and that's considered barely passing. I'm reading this while having an existential crisis, cause 92 percent is above average. Then out of nowhere he gets a 126 in math?! So no way is this out of 100. What's the grading out of?! Is the tutoring working?! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I'm not okay with the cheating, but I understand where the uke's coming from. Even though life is stable, he's not happy. He's not thriving at work. Seme with good intentions is always helping him, but uke can't feel any satisfaction since it isn't his victory. Then everyone at work jokes about how useful seme is compared to him even though they started at the company at the same time. And the way the uke just goes along and takes in the insults, he has no pride or self-worth left.
Outside work, they're on different levels. Seme is like the adult naturally babying and chauffeuring him around, while uke is just being spoiled. Seme is unknowingly the enabler. They're not equals in work, life or their relationship. After a while, it just feels crappy. Uke has no self-worth cause seme unknowingly took it away from him from all areas of his life.
Then comes in ex, and they just vibe better. Seme is great, but uke knows he's dragging him down. Uke amazes himself that he managed to land a good looking perfect guy and has nothing (other than being a hole) to offer in return. But with ex it's different, uke always worked hard to catch up with ex (joining the same club, finding the same music, etc.) Maybe with the ex, uke can finally find the motivation for self-improvement. Imo, uke needs to quit his toxic job. He needs to mature as a person, and he can't do that in his current environment with bf. They need to go on break and the uke needs to figure himself out.
Yeah
