Yeah the novel is on going and currently has 1400+ chapters (around 1100+ translated tho so we are almost caught up lol) I honestly dont think that the comic version will ever do the entire novel. depending on how successful the comic version does will effect if they get a second season which i personally don't think will happen but who knows it also depends on who is paying them to draw it.
I'm only in the 400s.... Orz, not to mention each chapter is huge! At least 15 minutes to get through, I kinda just want the romance to start or gender reveal or something! Just Mecha and competitions... Sigh
dont worry lol around the 1000+ chapter area some of those things get revealed (honestly it gets more interesting as you keep reading it so getting that far is no problem)

Tho it may because I really hold this series dear to me I kinda have an issue with the art and the pacing. (the artist from solo leveling I think would have been a better fit and I like their character designs better. plus I think that artist is really good at showing fight scenes and showing how overpowered the mc is (which is a must with boss lan)(on a side note I kinda feel like they did little four dirty with that hairstyle （/TДT)/ , I don't know I just though he would look similar to boss lan) they did well with the drawings of the mechas tho
I know i'm am just kinda complaining and should just be happy it got a series but the book is so good and has so much content that made me for the first time pay money to read the chapters that were locked (the book series is literally at around 1400 chapters and is still on going. the series does a wonderful job at pacing and there I have never felt bored after a reading so much. There is so much drama, face slapping, and character development. Just a 5/5 rating. I would even go as far as to say its better then solo leveling (and considering that I have to say that you can guess about how good the novel is) Idk I just hope that they dont do a rushed job and take the time and care with this series

it might just be me but..... I was looking at nakyum and seungho real close and they have similar eye color. Their eyes are both a rare gold color and nakyum is an orphan...... please let this be just a coincidence Σ( ￣□￣||)
plus it doesn't help that seungho family seems to be shrouded in mystery so that learned sir just might find out that they are related (That might be a real piece of info that could ruin seungho if it got out that he was fucking his brother...... thats based on the fact if they are related)
